Design for the Elderly Integrating the garden experience in the home
Research and Development
one of the main lesiure activities among elderly is gardening. with physical labor being an issue, many elderly can’t maintain a garden. my concept would be integrating the gardening experience inside the home. allowing easier access and less labor.

Final Direction
the Smart Grow
Plant at your own pace. Just tell it what plant you plan on growing and the Smart Grow will update its database to help nurture the plant to the right temperature during its beginning stages. The beginning stages for a plant are the most critical in whether it will grow or not, the Smart Grow nurtures the plant in a controlled greenhouse environment while using a CO2 generator housed in the base plate to maintain plant health indoors.
