We have been busy the last few weeks picturing fall borns, calving, and helping families at
the expos. It has been a lot of long nights and early mornings, but if you asked anyone around here, the common response would be, “We are living the dream.” We are excited about the cattle we have assembled for the sale and have a lot of faith in their genetics and the quality. We try and improve every year and make it bigger and better. This set is an example of our best fall borns along with a few other highly respected operations in the country. We know it costs a lot to show cattle and that can make it a challenge for a lot of families to compete. Over the years our fall borns averaged $5,500. A few of them went on to be Champion or Reserve Supreme at their respected Junior Nationals, few others were division champions at National Shows and State Fairs. We are proud of that, and also realize the hard work and time families put into them made the difference. We can’t say thank you enough to everyone that helps us along the way, we have a great crew and couldn’t ask for better. Isaac Taber, John Reasor, Jake Bonsack, Debnam, Tebow and Walker Dunn. Thank you for all you do!

Montella 9219 ET lot 1 BOY CHAROLAIS | September 2, 2019 S: Carbon Copy D: BOY Montella Marie 622 (Outside x Montella)
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. What an awesome way to start off the fall born sale, two daughters out of the 622 cow, owned with the Moore Family in Illinois. Last year in our spring born sale a half sib was one of the more popular Charolais, and has gone on to win the calf division in Denver and was Reserve calf in Louisville for the Albers Family. 622 I think will continue to make a big splash, these two calves have that same quality. So far I will say if you think feet and legs are important I would look at these. Their feet are big and they both are awesome moving. Lot 1 is the horned heifer of the pair. She reminds me a lot of the Albers heifer that sold this past fall. If you liked that one I would make sure and look at this one.

BOY Gigi ET lot 3 CAG CHAROLAIS | September 20, 2019 S: Strong Side D: Carbine 1572
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Strong side was a bull that Arthur, Hennely, and Grand Hills bought at junior nationals the year it was in Grand Island. Both of these heifers out of outsiders mother have a lot of upside potential, as tough as a winter those guys had up there, they came in a nickel skinnier than ideal, but I’d say when it's all done they could be some of the better ones. Both of these heifer’s are soft haired, loose made, and have an awesome running gear underneath them. 1572 needs no introduction. She is one of the best beef cows I have ever seen, last year Jacob Moore purchased a half sister that went onto win her Division in Louisville.

Montella 9419 ET lot 5 BOY CHAROLAIS | September 14, 2019 S: TR Diablo 2472 D: BOY Montella Marie 616 ET
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. 616 is the heifer that Sara Sullivan showed a few years ago that was probably one of the most different Charolais we had shown or raised. This heifer is a Diablo 2472 and in blood would be a full sister to our second high selling Charolais female in our fall sale. This one has always been a standout since she was born, good looking, good haired, and awesome moving. This one will make a really competitive senior yearling.
BOY Glow ET lot 6 CAG CHAROLAIS | October 4, 2019 S: M&M Outsider 4003 PLD D: T R Randi 0634 (Outside x Montella)
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. The Lot 6 and 7 heifers are very unique in their build, they started rubbing a little before we could get them pictured, but don’t let that fool you, take them home slick them off and it will come back fine. These two have as much upside potential as any. Randi 0633 is the mother of Cagney Efflings champion Bred and Owned at Junior Nationals, and Max Troyer female that has been successfully in 2020 in Iowa. This pair is hard to split, I am not sure which one I like better in person. They are very similar and push the envelope for build and uniqueness.

BOY Golden Girl 9519 ET lot 8 RR COMPOSITE CHAROLAIS/ CHI September 20, 2019 S: Fu Man Chu D: TR Mustang Sally
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. This composite heifer is better than her picture mind you we broke, washed and clipped them in a week and pictured them on a 10 degree day. Here mother is one of my all time favorite Charolais cows “Mustang Sally.” This heifer can be dual registered Chi or Composite, and when I went up to Reimans I wasn’t looking for this one just so happened to stumble upon her and knew I probably needed to take her. Good cattle, Awesome breeders, even better people.
EK Who’s Refreshed 9619 ET lot 9 BOY CHI | September 1, 2019 S: Who Da Man x 6640
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. This chi heifer was a standout since she got here, she is far enough along to be competitive right out the gate and has the look and balance to be there as a senior yearling. This one ranks pretty high on my list, awesome structured, huge bodied, and stout. The refresh cattle have always intrigued me with their unique pieces and this one fits the bill, her mother is a Who Da Man x 6640 that came from Sullivan’s a few years back. Be confident here.
BOY Kelli 9719 ET lot 10 RR MAINETAINER/ CHI November 05, 2019 S: Maternal Made D: Reimann Kelli
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Where do you start? What do you say? This cow is an icon in the club calf industry and chances are most of the better steers sold in the country are out or go back to Kelli. Wade Rodgers bought a sister to these last fall, I am sure he will probably raise both steers and heifers with that one and we feel the same about these two. Although both are different we think they are equally good in different ways. Kelli is getting up there in age. I'm not sure how many more daughters will be up for auction. Here is your opportunity to make a splash in the show cattle world, these genetics are timeless.

BOY Kelli 9919 ET lot 12 RR CHI | September 15, 2019 S: Monopoly D: Reimann Kelli
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Those that know me know would question the breeding of this one being on our heifer sale. Here is the thing I know, it's not my kind, but as many good Here I Am x Monooly steers I saw this fall and what they sold for, she is my kind. Not to mention she is a full sib to Made or Order and a few donor cows that are making their impact as well. This one will raise something, she is as neatly built as they come, sound, and cool cool looking. This one is the donor cow for me.
MC Malloy’s 1932 ET lot 13 JB POLLED HEREFORD | May 24, 2019 S: H Montgomery D: Vin Mar Mallory 850
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Carter Ward called me and said he had a Hereford he was going to send me that was really good, when she arrived I could totally see what he was talking about. This heifer is built awesome, sound, and out of the famous Mallory cow that Hoffman has raised multiple junior national champions out of. She is a younger greenier May, take her home feed her and I bet next fall you will love what you have.
Ginger 954G lot 14 JBSF CHAROLAIS | September 2, 2019 S: Bouncer D: 213 (Milsap x Online)
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Old spot!!! When this female hit the ground, I looked at Jimbo and was pumped. A polled female that is massive boned, body, and hair. A big league September heifer that is so soft in her angles and is backed by one of the highest generating donor cows for the Lowderman and Foggy Bottom operations. When Jared first knocked some hairs off, I think he was about more excited than I was. Good beef cattle.
HL Too Toos Girl 9019 ET lot 15 BOY 3/4 SIMMENTAL | September 2, 2019 S: Quatum Leap D: BOY Tammy Too Too D665
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. This one is really good. Whether you’re talking about genetics or what she looks like, this one is a no brainer. The Tammy cow has been without a doubt our best producer and has made a huge impact in our operation. We always wanted to keep bringing daughters back to find one that produces like her mom. The 665 cow might be the one that out does her, She generates quality every time. The sigrist family bought a full sib last year that was Reserve in the fall division at Junior Nationals and Reserve at Illinois State Fair. The best part is in the end this one can make purebreds but still is unique enough to make some other breeds.
EK Gracey 9029 ET lot 16 BOY 1/2 SIMMENTAL | October 2, 2019 S: WCC Bankroll D: Who Da Man
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. This one is so different and unique. It’s hard not to fall in love with a red brockle, especially when they look like this. This heifer is a half sib to Lot 9 and has just continued to get better everyday. When we got back from the Illinois Beef Expo this one looked incredible and has already changed so much in just a week. She checks all the boxes feature, muscle, body, and a cool look to go along with it. The Who Da Man x 6640’s have generated animals that have won across the country. This cow continues to do the same.
Gretchen 951G lot 17 JBSF 1/2 SIMMENTAL | September 2, 2019 S: Halftime D: Full brother to Driver
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Good built livestock never go out of style. This dot headed, halfblood female is tremendous in her feet and legs, deep bodied and smooth built. The cow is out of my grandfather’s herd bull, which is a full brother to Driver, that makes big broody, stout and powerful cows. She will show and make a whale of a foundation cow.
Guess Who 9039 lot 18 CMAC 5/8 SIMMENTAL | October 15, 2019 S: CK Edge D: Profit / Angus
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. This heifer is out of a really nice young cow that Mark and Deb bought from Swansons. When they first brought her home I always figured she would raise something that would make it for the sale every year. She is awesome footed, perfect uddered, and always raises a big calf. The Edges we have been having are really good and I’m excited for that bulls future. This heifer is so hard to pick a hole in. She will always be one of those that you can never fault and will go on to make a cow that you love to have around.
JBOY Gabby 939G lot 19 CK 3/4 SIMMENTAL | October 4, 2019 S: Profit D: Edge Mother
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. When Jared went to Efflings he said he found a Simmy that was skinny but could be incredibly good someday. Since all the cattle got here she might of changed as much as anything else. Here is another heifer that I think has so much value especially from a breeding side of things. Her look and design is neat and just has donor cow all over it. Then you throw in her build and it's about as good as it gets. If you give her time I think you will like what you get.
Giana 953G lot 20 JSBF PB SIMMENTAL | September 5, 2019 S: Logic D: 141D
(Halftime x C339U x Steel Magnolia)
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. Two full sisters that we feel are big time for structure, build, and attractiveness for purebred Simmental cattle. Backed by an up and coming donor 141D, that reminds us a lot of the famous steel magnolia cow. If you are looking to be competitive nationally with a purebred heifer; this pair could certainly suit a lot of operations. The snip nosed heifer is bold stout and awesome at the ground. The full face baldy probably a shot longer bodied, yet still moves good and comes with a higher ear set. Both females have the look of quality to be competitive, but cow like basic function to be a great investment for anyone’s goals.

(Halftime x C339U x Steel Magnolia)
Retaining two flushes at buyers convienance and sellers expense. A younger heifer than her maternal sisters, but quality doesn’t sort much. Legendary has been stamping them moderate, attractive, and extremely good structured. This describes this female to a T. She combines this with a shot more hair and sweep to her lower body. High quality animal with a wicked look.
