ENDING 2010 In 8 years of Versuz history this was by far the hottest summer ever!! Outdoor Events like Cityparade, Versuz At The Beach , Pool Lounge CD Tour, Ibiza Summerclubbing and of course Tomorrowland were absolute madness... I guess everybody agreed it was the best dance festival ever experienced on Belgian soil! Versuz will keep on ‘doing its thing ‘ on these festivals for future years to come! As the story continues we have set up a strong program to get us trough the dark and cold winter! First of all Versuz will be representing one of the best brands in the world known in the party scene... PACHA will be working with us to give you maximum pleasure and Ibiza summer vibes a few times every season. Our special guest DJs for this season on Saturnights are: MADEMOISELLE LUNA, WALLY LOPEZ , JOHN DAHLBÄCK AND... SHARAM who we are glad to welcome back with open arms. Musically we have been very busy behind the scenes working out Versuz Essentials. By signing Steve Angello’s KNAS to our label things are going fast forward. A lot of talented producers and demos have reached us lately, but Essentials is MORE THAN MUSIC as you can find out yourselves on www.versuzessentials.com. MADEMOISELLE LUNA SAT. 16TH OCT. Mademoiselle luna has always been part of the belgian clubbing scene since the beginning of the 90, when she began her career as a photographer for the club “the fuse” and evolved afterwards as a dancer. She became popular as manager in all the best clubs of belgium, france and miami during tours with a group of dancers. At the end of 2002, she is responsible of a dj bar called “q bar” situated in the centre of brussels. Music & rhythm having always been her passion and being an easy step towards the « turntable »... It is a revelation... She begins to do gigs with her dj friends. Various clubs in the centre of brussels are booking her immediately; she made her first public appearance at the armani night next to Danii Minogue in october 2003. After that, everything goes really fast. Her talent, her musical style, both hip and glamorous, make her the resident dj at “you” in brussels. She is booked for the most famous events in the capital but also in france, corsica, portugal and marrakech where she impressed a lot of people with her technical skills. Mademoiselle luna performs in all trendy clubs. Her music style moves between groove, house and electro house and this particular « lunar touch » helps her seduce the audience she interacts with. SHARAM SAT. 6TH NOV. Sharam is a Grammy award-winning producer, songwriter, recording artist and DJ. Together with Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia he formed Deep Dish. The duo re-worked classics from the likes of Madonna and The Rolling Stones to Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson into international club hits, and also crafted the musical backdrop for VERSACE haute couture fashion shows in Milan and Paris. After a bountiful career as part of Deep Dish, Sharam became a solo artist in 2008 with the release of his UK top ten hit “PATT (Party All The Time)” — a rigorous rework of an old Eddie Murphy record — followed by his collaboration with Daniel Bedingfield for “The One” and finally his debut double album, Get Wild in 2009. Always with the ambition to be diverse and progressive, Sharam collaborated with the likes of P. Diddy, Tommy Lee, and Chuck D., and even included a Patsy Cline vocal sample to complete this record with its Morricone-inspired Spaghetti Western theme. A serious movie buff, Sharam also made his directorial debut for the album’s single “She Came Along” featuring Kid Cudi. Now, as Sharam prepares to set the stage for the overall aesthetic of his next album Speed, the avid car enthusiast will be driving a 1970s Dodge Coronet Super Bee Hemi — an all-American muscle car — in this year’s Gumball 3000 Rally. Musically he extends his passion for iconic automobiles with a series of three EPs being released under the “Mach” moniker inspired by the 1970’s Ford Mustang. WWW.SHARAM.COM

SAT. 1ST JAN. 2011 I love to play for dancing people, to really see them loving the tunes. And I love to make the tunes that get them dancing… John Dahlbäck, was born in 1985 near Stockholm, Sweden. With a family background boasting more music than the Von Trapps it’s no surprise he was instantly hooked. Learning the basics on his dad’s Atari computer he soon established his own style. John landed his first record deal at only 15. With a track out on Route 33 and his first 12″ out on Deep4life, John was heading for the big league. After “Music So Sweet” the releases kept coming, and Johns first label was born together with cousin Jesper. As Hugg & Pepp, the cousins have established a worldknown superduo. When John started the label Pickadoll, for the Plantage 13 labelmanagement in 2005, he finally had his own imprint and signed great artists like Özgur Can, Sebastien Leger, Dada Life, Zoo Brazil, Robbie Rivera, Laidback Luke and Style of Eye. Next to a string of well-known productions and owning a succesfull label, John plays out all over the world. A summer in Ibiza has lightened John’s production style from minimal techno influences to his more house-influenced vibe. “It was so good to listen to sun-drenched tunes, the grooves and harmonies just feel stronger to me.“ For John, his agenda for making and playing music is simple. “I’m quite calm when I DJ, I don’t want to be ‘showy’ - I love to play for dancing people, to really see them loving the tunes.
