Code Red Emergency Notifications

The City of Lauderhill uses the CodeRED Emergency Notification System, which is useful for general and emergency notifications through phone calls, text messages, emails, and an app for mobile devices.

All residents and businesses are urged to register with the CodeRED system so as to get important updates as they come. Registration is free. All you need to do is sign up on the CodeRED registration page, and you’ll begin to receive these updates. You may also signup by texting “LAUDERHILL” to 99411.

The CodeRED system allows communications to be sent to all targeted areas in the City in the event of an emergency that requires immediate or imminent action. Information about bad weather, evacuation, missing persons, fires, criminal incidents, accidents, and other emergencies.

In such cases, the caller ID will display the number 855-969-4636 for General Notifications and 866-419-5000 for Emergency Notifications. Should you miss the call, a message will be left if you have a voicemail or an answering machine. Otherwise, the system will attempt to call again after a short while. You also have the option to call the number back for the most recent message.

If you encounter any difficulties, you may contact the Fire Department at 954-7302950.
