PAN FRIED BANANAS RECIPE WITH RUM Sometimes, children dislike to have a banana, but if it is prepared differently by converting it to a delicious dessert, children will preferably love to have it. The preparation is quite easy and time-saving. It is a sweet dish enriched with iron and vitamin. It can boost up the immune system of children.

PREPARATION TIME - 10 MINUTES COOKING TIME - 10 MINUTES SERVE FOR – 4 PERSONS

INGREDIENTS Banana - 4 (should be ripe but firm, do not use over ripe bananas) White unsalted butter - 4 tsp Sugar - 6 to 7 tbsp Citric acid -1/4 tsp (this prevents the sugar from crystallizing) Cinnamons powder - 1 tsp Fresh and chopped nuts as per your choice like almonds, cashew nuts etc) Fresh sweet cream - half cup Rum - 6 tbsp

PROCESS Beat the cream to make it smooth and little thick. Put it in the fridge prior to serve. Use a griddle/tawa to dry roast the nuts. Chop fine and keep aside prior to serve. Peel the bananas and cut into half according to length. Melt butter in a large frying pan oven in medium heat. Fry the bananas until they become golden brown. If possible, fry them in batches. Put sliced bananas together in a single layer in a dish. In another pan (the similar frying pan can also be used together with the leftover butter) blend together sugar, rum, cinnamon powder and critic acid. Cook stirring all the time unless all the sugar is melted and a glaze is created. Pour over the bananas. The cooked bananas can be served at room temperature garnished with toasted nuts. Serve chilled cream separately in a bowl.
