What’s happening Now at Northpark?

Please Note: The October HOA Board Meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 27th at 6:30 p.m.

To better serve our NP residents we are asking for your help in updating the QuickPass system. If you have new phone numbers for your house or cell, please email the Community Services office so it can be updated. Also if you have a new vehicle and have received your license plate please email the plate number along with the make, model and color of vehicle so it can be updated into the system.

Please email your updated information to northpark@crummackhuseby.com and include your street address. Please be reminded that transponders are NOT transferable from one vehicle to another.

Renting your NP unit or home? Please inform the Community Services office so a separate QuickPass account can be set up for the new tenant to allow them gate access and guest management capabilities. Please email the office at; northpark@crummackhuseby.com with your address and new tenants information.

Protective Basket Ball pole pads have been installed on the full court at the Clubhouse. These pads have a outer shell that is a UV resistant, anti-mildew, anti-fungal and antimicrobial fabric. It was developed specifically for use around children and it will not mildew or rot. Northpark, keeping our players safe from injuries  Community Fall Event; sponsored by Gary and Susan Fallis. The Annual Pumpkin Patch will be on Sunday, October 10th at 3:30p.m. at the Clubhouse, 10 Meadow Valley, Irvine. Hope you will attend this great NP family tradition and fun event. Event is free to all Northpark residents.

Community Garage Sale; Northpark get ready to sell at our 2nd Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, October 16th from 7a.m. to 12:00 noon. Registration will begin October 1st to register please email the community Services office at northpark@crummackhuseby.com Advertisement will be announced to the Public the week prior to the sale. Each individual resident will hold their sale at their specific address from their garage or front yard. Next sale will be March 12, 2011 if you miss this one !

Tiny Tots, two times to meet the first Friday of each month from 10:00 a.m. and the second Friday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Clubhouse. Each play session is for one hour with story time and sing along to music.

For those of you who are lap swimmers and have been wanting to know how long our pools are, here it is: Forest Glen, main pool measures 75' feet (25 yard pool) Santa Barbara, 2 Spring Valley’s pool measures 65' feet Coronado, 101 Spring Valley’s pool measures 62' feet Sausalito Gardens, 120 Spring Valley’s pool measures 72' feet (slightly less than a 25 yard pool) Grass Valley, 40 Grass Valley’s pool measures 65' feet.

Please note pools heated year round are 120 Spring Valley and 101 Forest Glen pools all other pools are heated from Memorial Day to Labor Day only. However all pools with spas are heated year round.

This plastic bag was left behind and melted onto the hood of the new BBQ leaving an unsightly mess.

New Protective pads installed at the full basket ball court at the Clubhouse.

Forest Glen pool will be closed for mastic repairs on deck and pool tiles. To eliminate trip hazards on the pool deck and avoid water leakage around spa and wader’s decorative tiles.

Pool will re-open on Saturday, Oct. 2nd or before if material dries faster than anticipated.

For lap swimming, please visit the 120 Spring Valley pool. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.

Vehicle Transponder Update: Getting ready to purchase a new vehicle? Please be reminded that transponder stickers are NOT transferable from one vehicle to another. Do NOT try to attach the old transponder to your new vehicle. This could cause damage to your new vehicle since the gate arm mechanism will not receive a clear signal. If you are purchasing a new vehicle and have a old transponder please remove from old vehicle and bring in with your new vehicle to the Community Services office to activate a new transponder. Replacement cost is $25.00 when you turn in the old, additional transponders are $35.00 each. Personal checks and Credit cards are the only form of payment received; please note a convenience fee of $4.00 is charged for credit card transactions. Calling the Gates: Due to high traffic activity and phone calls, please do not call the Central Park Gate house for guest admittance during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., please call either the Portola Gate or the Meadowood Gate. The Central Park Gate house is a 24 hour gate, all phone calls received during these hours are rerouted to the Portola Gate to be answered in a timely manner. The BMP’s identify measures and practices first controlling runoff from the community into adjacent areas and storm drains that ultimately drain into the Pacific Ocean. Some of these practices include making sure homeowners’ landscape irrigation systems are adjusted properly to apply the proper volume of water to avoid excess runoff, not disposing of motor oil, paint products or detergents into the streets and ultimately the storm drains. Compliance by residents is important for several reasons. First, violation of these practices may subject the resident to penalties not only from the Association, but also from any public agency that has the right to monitor and enforce compliance. Second, violation of these practices may result in the imposition of more stringent maintenance requirements on the association, which could cause increases in monthly homeowner assessments.
