For classes that consist of three or more meetings, the request for a refund must be made before the second class meeting.

No exceptions can be made and a $5.00 processing charge will be deducted from all requested refunds. Materials fees are not refundable. Please allow four weeks for refunds to be processed. Adult sports leagues & excursions are not eligible for refunds.

Side-by-Side Art

1 class This workshop is designed for children to work side-by-side with any adult (parent, sibling, grandparent, etc.) to create and enjoy the process of making something by hand. Teen Art Group

2 classes This class is for motivated teens that are working toward a goal and need a small group workshop for added encouragement and support. Whether you need to finish a school project or create a portfolio for an art school, college application or a job, this class is for you. This is a place to work on your own art making goals, start a new project, or perfect a piece that could use a more dedicated time for completion. The instructor is available for guidance, technique, tool use, and goal setting. Bring a finished or work-in-progress piece to share with the class. All traditional mediums are acceptable. C.I.T. volunteers are selected based upon meeting qualifications associated with being a Recreation Leader in our Camp programs.

Candidates must display the following: enjoy working with people, a positive attitude, able to follow directions and rules, being responsible, knowledge of recreational programs and activities associated with youth either by previous participation or volunteer experience.

Skyhawks provides a wide variety of fun, safe, and positive programs emphasizing critical lessons in sports and life, such as teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. Our programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle. Dog Obedience

Canine Good Citizen

8 classes This class is for dogs six months and older and their owners to learn behaviors that make your dog an accepted citizen in the community. This is also a logical step toward Therapy Dog Training. An American Kennel Club (AKC) certified evaluator will teach owners the ten basic components needed to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test given the last night of class. Passing the test makes your dog eligible for a certificate from AKC. Bring dog, 6-foot leash, collar, and proof of vaccinations to the first class. All dogs are welcome.

Therapy Dog Training

$65.00 8 classes Pre-requisite: Completion of the City of Tustin’s Dog Obedience class or proof of equivalent class and instructor approval. This class will focus on the correct handling of your dog in therapy situations. The human/dog teams will be taught the obedience skills required to pass the Therapy Dog International (TDI) test. Dogs must be at least one year old and handlers must be at least 15 years old. A separate nominal fee will be charged by the TDI evaluator if the team elects to be tested. Bring your dog and proof of vaccinations to the first class. Appropriate leash and collar will be discussed during class.
