Recent Accenture market research finds that wireless networking technology is rapidly diffusing from the telecommunications industry to a broad and diverse set of companies. These "Next Movers" are finding that the addition of networking products such as cars, cameras or power meters profoundly changes how these products are used and valued by the consumer. In bringing their new networked offerings to market, Next Movers are laying the groundwork for a value chain that creates many new opportunities... and challenges... for mobile operators.
