ith the new year rolling in I know we have all wrote out our New Year’s Resolutions and at the to p of every one’s is always fitness, so it was only fitting to have a fit ness trainer kick off our group of awesome women of 2016. Danielle King or affectionately known as Coach D by her clients is a Women’s Fitness Instructor and owner of Fitness Is My Sickness one of the only Women’s fitness studios in West Palm Beach Florida, which she has owned now for 3 years, since making a career change from being a street cop for 8 years, but she states she has spent a lifetime of motivating others. Aside from being an entre preneur, Danielle leads a very busy but productive life. She is a wife of one and a moth er of 3, sons 18 and 7 and daught er 15. It is a little ironic how she has come to love fitness and have combined it with her education. She has an MBA and now writing her PhD dissertation. Her studies entail business such as lead ership and organizational change, with that being said her original dream was to ac company a CEO and assist them with evolving the culture of the organization. Danielle learned a long time ago that if you only have compli ance instead of commitment the roa d will be tough. Committed employees, customers and friends breed loyalty, they go the extra mile and

that is exactly what you need. She states that she needed to learn that to properly affect her fit bus ine ss. With wha t she

Fitness Is My Sickness w/ D a nie lle K ing Ok the Holidays are over and here is our new game plan!!!!! ! We’ve indulged, laughed, ate, drank and been pretty darn merry!! Let’s get back to the basics and flush our bodies out with a good cleanse and eat to fuel our bodies, feel and look our best!! The benefits of c lean healthy eating are surmountable. I am usually fond of no wheat or starches but with daily training and clean eating they can provide a good source of energy so no worries! It doesn’t matter if you are attempting to drop a few pounds or maintain your health as you age, eating clean makes a very important com ponent of a happy and healthy lifestyle. Stock up your food intake with as little processed, whole foods -- such as whole grains, veggies, fruits, nuts, legumes, fatty fish and lean meats -- not only provides nutrients to support healthy cell function but also helps fight chronic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart concerns and more. Cutting unhealthy crappy foods such as soda, juice, sugar and other processed foods out of your diet offers benefits because compounds found in unhealthy, processed foods can increase your disease risk.
