Want to be a big hit with your all you Valentines? Order them custommade, hand-dipped strawberries from the Club. Orders can be placed now through Feb. 8 at the Club office. Pick-up date is Feb. 12.

Choose from Nine giant strawberries dipped in gourmet white, milk or dark chocolate for $25 or we’ll dress up the white chocolate berries in sweet coconut or cover the dark chocolate berries in crushed almonds for $30. Both nights have combined nightly payouts of at least $1,600 not including two progressive jackpots of at least $1,000 if you win on or before the designated winning number. Outdoor Rec Center Orientation class a necessity before using power boats

Feb. 9 & 23 These one-hour orientation classes are required in order to checkout motor-driven ORC boats.

Advance class registration required. Cost is $5.

Before attending class, boater must take a free on-line boater safety course at www.boatus.org and pass with a minimum score of 80%. Call the ORC after testing to schedule an orientation class.

We’ll ‘rock’ your party The ORC offers indoor rock climbing parties! The parties are two hours and costs $8 per person with a minimum of eight participants. This includes the rock wall and party area. You bring the food, beverages and decorations, we supply the tables, chairs and our fabulous 30-foot tall indoor climbing wall. Church and office groups, squadrons and other military units, along with youth organizations are welcome. Please call ahead for your reserved time slot.

Swim with the manatees Feb. 27-28 This is an unforgettable experience for the entire family! The $179 per person cost includes transportation to Crystal River, Fla., one night’s lodging on the river, Homosassa State Park admission and swimming with the manatees.

BB Gun Obstacle Shootout - Feb. 6. Air Force Base. Come out to test your BB gun skills through our obstacle course fields. Air Base Youth Center All JB Charleston teens are invited to our Late Night Poetry session just for teens. We’ll supply the pizza and drinks, you supply the whit and humor. Calling all youth artists

Do you have a Renior, Jackson Pollock or Annie Leibovitz wannabe in your family? Youth ages 5-18 are encouraged to submit their works to the Weapons Station Youth Center for the National Fine Arts Competition. This free program is sponsored by the Boys and Girls Clubs of America as part of the club’s Fine Arts Exhibition. Categories for submission include multiple art mediums such as chalk, pastels, oil, etc., along with photography and digital art.

Deadline to submit works of art to the Weapons Station Youth Center is Feb. 10. An art show showcasing all of the works is scheduled for Feb. 19, 4-6 p.m., at the youth center. The art show is free and open to the public. Call 843-794-7809 for more details.

Mistaking her for a princess and hoping to break the spell, Naveen plants a kiss on poor Tiana - thereby turning her into a frog as well. The pair hop along on an adventure through the bayous to seek help to reverse their situation. This is a great animated movie for all ages. Drinks and popcorn will be served.
