80s Throwback Party

March 13, 7-11 p.m. Ah, the 80s. There were big hair band power ballads like “Is this Love?” by Whitesnake, Journey’s “Faithfully,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is,” by Foreigner. And who could ever forget “Funkytown,” by Lipps Inc. Speaking of lips, Lip Smacker flavored lip balms (my favorite was Dr. Pepper) appeared and Strawberry Shortcake dolls were born. Are you stuck in the 80s? Do you just want to relive a time when you actually touched (gasp!) the person you were dancing with, teased your hair out as big as a satellite dish or waited in a line three blocks long just for eight gallons of gas? Join us for great music, heavy hors d'oeuvres and drink specials as we throwback to the 80s. Era-appropriate attire is highly encouraged, man. Prizes for best dressed, biggest hair (girls and guys) and best dance couple. Advanced tickets $15; $20 at the door.

A big bite of Irish

March 12, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Join us for some great, traditional Irish food at this lunch-time, all- youcare-to-eat buffet. The menu includes corned beef, cabbage, boiled potatoes, along with (southern Irish) fried chicken and fresh veggies. The salad bar is included in the $9 price. Drinks are $1.50. No RSVP needed. Just wear some green and come famished.
