Mother’s Day Brunch Sunday, May 11 Show your appreciation for that special woman in your life by taking her to our Mother’s Day Brunch. There will be a bountiful breakfast bar with many of her favorites including Belgium waffles and fresh fruit. 3D ar archery chery shoot May 21 This shoot will be a “Hunter Class� 3D event with targets ranging from 10 to 40 yards distance. All skill levels are invited to participate. Archers must provide their own equipment; no crossbows are permitted. Each shoot begins at 5 p.m. at the Air Base Outdoor Recreation. Please register by May 19. Cost is $5 per person.
May 6 & 20, June 10 & 24 This one-hour class is required in order to checkout motor-driven ORC boats. Advance class registration required. Cost is $5. t Transition GPS for those retiring
Formerly known as TAP, this Goals, Plans and Success workshop May 12-16, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., will help you become “career ready” as you transition from the military. A mandatory pre-separation briefing, scheduled through the A&FRC, is required prior to attending.
t Jr. Smooth Move workshop
On May 13, 4:30-5:30 p.m., youth ages 5-12 are invited to learn how to prepare for a PCS move, how to survive moving day, saying goodbye to old friends and “hello” to new ones, along with how to get settled in their new home. Workshop is at the Air Base Youth Center, but registration is through the Airman and Family Readiness Center.
