Soccer registration begins July 1 July 1 is the opening date to sign-up for JB Charleston’s youth soccer program for the Air Base and Weapons Station. Youth who register by July 15 will receive a free Kids Night Out pass for August. The program is open to youth ages 4 and up. Costs are: Smart Start (4 year olds), $25; Youth Program members ages 5 and up, $30; non-members, $40. Physicals are required and we are always looking for coaches. Formerly known as TAP, this Goals, Plans and Success workshop June 2-6, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., will help those separating or retiring become “career ready” as they transition from the military. A mandatory pre-separation briefing, scheduled through the A&FRC, is required prior to attending. A second briefing targeting just separatees will be conducted June 16-20.
