Jr. Members eat free Aug. 2 The Club hosts a “1st Thursday Family Night” for its Members every month. This month’s program is Aug. 2. The fun starts at 5 p.m. Members are invited to bring the family for a pizza and spaghetti dinner. Cost is only $5.50 for adults and youth 12 years old and younger eat at no charge. Breakfast, lunch on us The Charleston Club will treat its Members to a free “Christmas” breakfast buffet on Tuesday, Aug. 14. Twilight Golf Special With Daylight Savings Time there’s more daylight to take advantage of Redbank’s twilight golf deals. After 3 p.m. on weekdays, golfers can enjoy 18 holes of golf for only $10 to walk and $16 with cart. After 3 p.m. on weekends, the rate is $12 to walk and $19 with cart. No tee time is required. Rental clubs are available at the pro shop.

Tandem Skydiving August 4 Why jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Because it’s the thrill of a lifetime! Liberty offers skydiving trips to Walterboro Airpark on the first Saturday of each month through September. Registrations are due the Monday prior to each trip date. The cost is $157 for a tandem jump which includes instruction and everything you’ll need to take the plunge. The van departs from the OAC parking lot at 7:15 a.m. Participants must be 18 years of age and can’t weigh more than 220 lbs.

Youth Soccer Camp Parents, JBC-Weapons StaWLRn Youth Programs offers a great way to prepare your kids for the upcoming soccer season with our Youth Summer Soccer Camp. Kids ages 4-14 will learn the fundamentals of soccer in a fun, non-competitive environment. Camp will be held August 6-10 from 6-8 p.m. at the Menriv Soccer Field. Youth Soccer League Youth Soccer registration is underway at the JB Charleston-Weapons Station Youth Center and will run through August 10. Boys and girls ages 4-14 are eligible.
