This one-hour class is required in order to checkout ORC boats. Advance class registration required. Cost is $5 per person. Before attending class, boaters must take free on-line boater safety course at www.boatus.org and pass with a minimum score of 80%. Call the ORC after testing to schedule an orientation class.

Marksmanship Trip December 8 Join Liberty, Saturday, Dec. 8 as we head to the local gun shop/firing range for your rifle and/or pistol qualifications. Tandem Skydiving December 15 Why jump out of a perfectly good airplane? Because it’s the thrill of a lifetime! Liberty takes you to Walterboro Airpark on Saturday, Dec. 15 for tandem skydiving! Registrations are due Monday, Dec. 10. The cost is $155 for a tandem jump which includes instruction and everything you’ll need to take the plunge. The van departs from the OAC parking lot at 7:15 a.m. Participants must be 18 years of age and can’t weigh more than 220 lbs.

Youth who are currently seeking help with taking the PSAT, SAT or ACT will have an opportunity to take a practice test by using the Power Prep software at the Youth Center.
