Organizations UNITED As One

Alongside the still on-going Covid-19 pandemic, came the Texas Winter Storm that hit us in March, 2021. Many families were affected in all areas but many individuals and organizations UNITED as one to give back to the community to help those in need in many ways. Through the outreach made by Albert Melendez, a financial specialist from New York Life Insurance Company and Jerri Bankston, owner and publisher of the whole Kid and Kaboodle magazine, a giving back to the community event was initiated and held in March of 2021. The event was made possible by the collaboration of Albert and Jerri along with North East Ministers
Association (NEMA) and it’s member, Dayspring Church-Pastor Oliver Stillwell. Kid and Kaboodle would like to give special thanks to Albert Melendez, New York Life Insurance Company, New York Life Foundation alongside with the partnership with DaySpring ChurchPastor Stillwell and Porter First Baptist Church-Pastor Rob Ray both, joined together with the Montgomery Food Bank and HAAM (Humble Area Assistance Ministries), in an event to give back to the community held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. A true non affiliation of each organization but yet a UNITED force that made it possible to outreach about 1500 individuals.
