Global Dining At Dubai’s New Food District
A first of its kind, the recently opened Food District located at The Pointe, on the Palm Jumeirah Dubai, is home to thirteen homegrown concepts, all under one roof. This two-storey prime indoor and terrace location boasts front-row views of the world’s largest dancing fountains, together with Atlantis vistas. When entering the Food District you will first find artisan coffee and café concept, Boon Coffee and pastries and gelato stall, Silk Gelato, both located on the ground floor. Whilst the first floor showcases ten dine-in brands from trend-setting Dubai-based chefs, restaurateurs, and food entrepreneurs, alongside two licensed bars.
We take a seat on the outdoor spanning terrace, the atmosphere is relaxed with guests casually dressed and enjoying a midday beverage. After a quick lap we make our selection, pick up our buzzer and wait for our order. First, we pick up our order at the Dibba Bay Oyster stall. Dibba Bay Oysters are the Middle East’s only oyster farm, growing gourmet oysters in Fujairah. For only AED 90 for six or AED 150 for a dozen No 3s, and an additional AED 50 for my sparkling beverage, I can quickly appreciate the appeal of the Food District. Next, and another superb homegrown brand, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki, a dedicated sushi and sashimi bar serving Japanese seafood from celebrated Dubai chef Reif Othman. Needless to say, the assorted sushi was excellent, and we would return for
this alone. Throughout our lazy lunch we try a range of dishes from Bite Me Burger and Get Plucked, Smöl by The Lighthouse, Sticky Rice, Tandoornari and Wok Tales, The Roost and Wingsters, with a few beverages from Bramble Bars. This new one-stop, licensed, dine-in food market serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a great spot if you are looking for a relaxed bite, free parking and dogs allowed policy (on the terrace) is a big plus. If you still haven’t made plans for Christmas or New Year’s Eve, guests will be able to dine at the Food District with no minimum spend or any set menus across the whole festive season. Specifically, at midnight on New Year’s Eve, the two Food District terraces will boast front-row views of a spectacular fireworks display, as a backdrop to the world’s largest fountains. Customers will be able to choose to spend as much, or as little as they like on food and beverage. However, for this one night only, on the 31st December, bookings are encouraged for dinner to ensure seating is reserved in line with Dubai Municipality’s safe spacing regulations. A credit card is required to guarantee reservations, with a AED 200 per person charge in case of no shows. To ensure smooth, traffic-free access to The Pointe on the busiest night of the year, all visitors to the complex must purchase an AED 50 entry ticket in advance. ROKA, Celebrated Robatayaki Cuisine
18 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
ROKA, located at the ME Dubai Hotel, situated in The Opus by Zaha Hadid, in Dubai’s Business Bay district, offers a unique style of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki cuisine. Its arrival to Dubai has been highly anticipated since Rainer Becker hinted to it back in 2014.
Following this is the dish that surprises us most, the Iceberg Salad No Wafu, an Iceberg Lettuce with Caramelised Onion Dressing. Had I known salads could be this sexy I may have lasted longer on my last diet. ROKA has somehow managed to take this humble vegetable and make it to one of the most ordered dishes on the menu. The Satsumo No Tempura, a Sweet Finding ROKA couldn’t be easier, the ground floor entrance means Potato Tempura is another exceptional dish, and we are liking the that a short elevator ride has us arriving at the main dining area. creativity that has been used to elevate simple day to day Valet is available directly outside the restaurant, although we ingredients. The Garlic Truffle Mayonnaise adds that little hint of would rather have had the option of self-parking. luxury. First impressions, we can definitely see a few design similarities between ROKA and its big sister Zuma. Large raw wooden tables and exposed concrete give the restaurant an urban vibe, whilst splashes of burgundy add a depth of colour. The juxtaposition of soft leather and lush foliage give ROKA a chic stylish edge. A seat on the outdoor cosy terrace is a must this time of year, and views of the Burj Khalifa are always welcome. We order a few signature mocktails and set about browsing through the offerings. First to arrive is the Kampachi Sashimi No Salada, a Yellowtail Sashimi with Yuzu-Truffle Dressing. A solid start, this dish offers a light zesty taste and with the fish sliced so thinly, it allows for each ingredient to be individually appreciated.
The Gindara To Kani No Gyoza, hits all the right notes. Black Cod and King Crab Dumplings with Roasted Chilli Dressing offer plump delights of culinary goodness. From the Sushi and Sashimi menu we try a variety of plates, but the Sea Bass Sashimi is the highlight of the assortment. The portion sizes make each dish ideal for sharing, allowing us to explore more of the menu. We take a small break before moving onto our mains, the service throughout our dining experience has been exceptional. Moving onto the mains we enjoy the, Kankoku Fu Kohitsuji, Lamb Cutlets with Korean Spices and Sesame Cucumber, plus the Tai No Miso-Yaki, a Sea Bream Fillet, Ryotei Miso with Red Onion. These are served with two portions of vegetables, the Bekudopoteto, ROKA’s version of the “Baked” Potato with Yuzu December | 19
Cream and Spring Onion and the Broccoli No Shinme, Shoga To Moromi Miso, a Tenderstem Broccoli, Ginger and Barley Miso. Our favourite dish is the Sea Bream, a refreshing change from the traditional Black Cod (which is on the menu) the Sea Bream holds the flavour of the Miso whilst offering a much meatier texture. The Lamb Cutlets are also excellent and accentuates the smokiness of the robata grill. Our least favourite dish of the evening is the Tenderstem Broccoli, we find the flavours of the Barley Miso too heavy for our palate. We conclude our dining experience with ROKA’s Dessert Platter, the chef’s selection of signature desserts, served with seasonal and exotic fruits, ice creams and sorbets. Sublime. Desserts are also available on the menu individually and the Dark Chocolate and Green Tea Pudding with Crunchy Jivara and Pear Ice-Cream is a must. The robata is truly the heart of ROKA, a theme that will define it from many other brands in the market. ROKA is less about being 20 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
seen at the bar and more about experiencing exceptional dishes, executed to perfection delivered to your table with impeccable hospitality. We are already planning our next visit to ROKA and will be returning for their Friday brunch which starts at a reasonable AED 295. Kampachi Sashimi No Salada, AED 68 Iceberg Salad No Wafu, AED 45 Satsumo No Tempura, AED 62 Gindara To Kani No Gyoza, AED 66 3 Sashimi Selection, AED 120 Kankoku Fu Kohitsuji, AED 140 Tai No Miso-Yaki, AED 95 Bekudopoteto, AED 50 Broccoli, AED 35 ROKA Dessert Platter, AED 69 ROKA, The Opus by Omniyat, Business Bay, Dubai, +971 4 439 7171

Traditional Flavours Shine At Khyber
22 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
Having dined at other outlets at Dukes The Palm, this will be our first time visiting Khyber. Located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Dubai, at Dukes The Palm, A Royal Hideaway Hotel, Khyber is known for its traditional Indian cuisine. Established in 1958 and one of the 5 best restaurants in the North of India, it is an iconic restaurant located in the art and heritage district of the city of Mumbai. Often visited by both local and international celebrities, distinguished personalities and even royalty. We are curious to see if the same experience has been transported from Mumbai to Dubai. Situated on the 15th floor of Dukes The Palm we take a short elevator ride to Khyber. Upon arrival the team offers us the option of dining indoors or outdoors. We select a table outdoors, the views are breathtaking, 180 degree Palm views, as far as the eye can see. With limited tables available, if you are planning on visiting Khyber, we would highly recommend you call in advance and reserve a table on the terrace. Inside the restaurant occupies a large space, ensuring that social distancing isn’t an issue. The dÊcor features exposed brick walls and wooden beams, with traditional Indian artworks dotted along the walls. After settling in and admiring the stunning sunset we are ready to begin. Tonight, we are here to try the Autumn Set Menu, priced at AED 120 per person, this reorder concept is extremely well priced, add an extra AED 50 for soft beverages or AED 120 for house beverages and enjoy for 2 hours. To start the proceedings, we welcome an assortment of Chutneys, Papadums and Dahi Puri, some of the most moreish nibbles served. The starters of Murgh Pudhina Tikka, Lamb Seekh Kebab and Paneer Tikka are all served on one plate. A pescatarian myself, I request for a few changes to my starters, chef graciously accommodates. My dining companion raves about the Murgh Pudhina Tikka, whilst I am won over by the Paneer Tikka. The main course offers six unique dishes, these include Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh Lamb, Palak (Spinach) Paneer, Kadai Vegetable, Dal Makhani with Jeera Rice, Naan, and Roti served on the side. Presented in mini copper pans our table is filled with aromatic deliciousness. All the dishes are piping hot and arrive in good time from kitchen December | 23
to table. As we begin to explore the variety of dishes a few initially stand out for their flavour and texture, these are the Butter Chicken, a bestselling dish at Khyber, and the Palak (Spinach) Paneer, both dishes have us indulging a little more than we had planned. It is worth mentioning that the food is unlimited, so if you are craving another bite of your favourite dish, you are able to reorder. Additional to this, the beverage package you select is valid for 2 hours, a choice of soft or house is available. For desserts we are treated by chef to an assortment of Gulab Jamun, Rabri and Mataka Kulfi (or if we rather vanilla ice cream), these traditional Indian desserts are divine, and we cannot resist ordering another portion of the Gulab Jamun. 24 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
Overall, Khyber offers authentic Indian cuisine served in a relaxed environment. Throughout our visit the staff are attentive, without being overwhelming and happy to cater for our dietary requirements. With a price tag of AED 120 per person the Autumn Set Menu is remarkable value, not just for the sheer quantity of food but also for the quality. Would we return to Khyber at Dukes The Palm, A Royal Hideaway? In short, yes, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and for the price we can stretch to a few visits. The Autumn Set Menu is priced at AED 120 per person. Khyber, Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, Dubai, +971 4 455 1111

It may not be the most important meal of the day, but when in the UAE indulging in unlimited food and drink on a Friday afternoon is almost mandatory, and with the creation of a plethora of brunch venues popping up around Abu Dhabi, things do not change, even in the midst of a global pandemic. If you are in search of a tried and tested brunch, head to the Glocal Brunch at Anantara Eastern Mangroves Abu Dhabi Hotel, where global cuisine meets a local platform that will guarantee a very long and lazy brunch. The reimagined brunch spread has been carefully curated to unite the world on a single platform, serving up an abundance of dishes from across the globe, leaving your senses utterly satisfied. Skip breakfast and come prepared with a large appetite as you are in for more than 200 dishes including Arabic, Asian, Mexican, and Mediterranean cuisines including a succulent meat carvery, a fresh seafood grill, a Thai corner and much more. Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted with an understated and friendly elegance. Ingredients restaurant promises a welcoming, lively ambience with the sound of the carefree, light-hearted tunes of the live entertainment filling the room. The interior is gorgeous and vast, but you will want to head straight outside to the shaded Instagram-friendly terrace overlooking the Mangroves to make the most of the Abu Dhabi winter sun. We start proceedings with a plate from the fresh salad bar that includes Beetroot Salad, Pomelo Salad, and crisp Celery Root and Green Apple Salad. We also sample flavours of the Mediterranean such as Grilled Asparagus, Bell Peppers and Eggplant while also embracing some of our familiar Arabic favourites including Hummus, Vine Leaves and Tabbouleh. As we wander around in search of our next plate, we feast our eyes on display upon display of wonderful worldly cuisines. There is something for everyone here, and the most important thing to know is that they do everything brilliantly. The Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours are big and powerful - think Grilled Lamb served with Roasted Cajun Potatoes or Root Vegetables (or both). Flavours of the Far East included a wide selection of Dim Sum, Black Pepper Fish and Stir-Fried Noodles - and the portions are substantial rather than heavy.

There are plenty of other things on the menu too, like a deliciously creamy Roasted Mushroom Soup, Pan Seared Salmon, and a freshly prepared selection of Sushi and Sashimi. Not forgetting the Mexican Tacos, and Indian Chicken Tikka Masala – all equally appetising. We load our plates with a luscious meat feast of slow-cooked Roast Beef and Chicken, and BBQ Short Ribs alongside Beef Roulade topped with a generous helping of Mushroom Sauce from the carvery. Next, we sample a freshly prepared Thai Papaya Salad from the Thai corner; here a beautiful display of fresh ingredients highlights the delightful dishes on offer including Tom Yam Soup and Prawn Pad Thai. While the majority of the brunch is spread over a large area inside the restaurant, a particularly great aspect is its live cooking, and nothing showcases this better than fresh Seafood and Kebabs blasted over hot coals on the outdoor live grill. We simply could not say no to a helping of Lobster. Believe it or not, we still have enough room in our ‘brunch bellies’ for dessert. A delightful selection of Cheeses and Crackers sits 28 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
just behind the Fresh Fruit counter. Meanwhile, for the sweet tooth, the choices are aplenty. Options included a velvety Chocolate Fountain surrounded by various goodies ready for dipping, and a seemingly endless selection of Cakes, Tarts and Mousse. Do not dare leave the Glocal Brunch without trying the Loto Cake, comprised of a deliciously moist Sponge Cake covered in a generous layer of Lotus spread and topped with Macaroons. Once you have eaten far more than you probably needed to, and you’re already feeling the post-brunch guilt, you can burn some of those calories with a stroll along the boardwalk to further enjoy the stunning views of the Mangroves. Alternatively, head upstairs for sunset drinks at Impressions; a spectacular rooftop lounge that offers the perfect outdoor setting to further relax, overlook the peaceful horizon with an ice-cold beverage in hand. Bliss. The ultimate way to end the perfect Friday feast. Brunch takes place every Friday from 12.30pm to 4.00pm and is priced at AED 245 including soft beverages or AED 345 including selected beverages. Today our culinary travel feature has us embarking upon a French-Polynesian inspired stay at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. The luxury 5-star beach resort is situated on the East Crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, offering guests a rejuvenating escape inspired by the rich culture of the South Pacific.
indoors or outdoors, we opt for a seat outdoors, wanting to make the most of the UAE winter sun. The menu features a selection of Salads, Sandwiches, Pizzas, Grilled Dishes, and Power Bowls.
For starters we opt to share the Bufalina Burrata presented with Heart of Palm, Rocket Leaves, Baby Corn, Artichoke, Roasted Rainbow Tomato, Pickled Silver Onion, Balsamic and Focaccia After a warm welcome and swift check-in, we are escorted to our Garlic Toast, a great first dish. Conscious we will be visiting the room via the golf buggy. As we are taken to our room the lushness spa this afternoon we opt to keep it light and both select the of the greenery, spacious resort and beachfront location, set the Penne Arrabbiata with Black Olives, Capers, Onions, Chives, tone for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Parmesan, Oregano, and Tomato Sauce. Its great to see Capers being used as they work wonderfully with the dish. Unable to resist, we order one portion of the Chocolate Brownie to share. For today’s visit at Sofitel Dubai The Palm we will be residing in the Prestige Suite, which promises more space, more luxuries, and Warm Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Sauce more privileges. The Prestige Suite boasts a large spanning finishes on just the right sweet note. Happy to see that the hotel balcony with two seating areas and sea views, a king-size offers Starbucks roast we order a coffee and head to the beach. After this year we are in dire need bathtub, his and her sinks, and two separate restrooms both with of some rest and relaxation, so today we have opted to try the bidets. The therapists guide us through the treatment ensuring we are relaxed and comfortable. I must highlight that the spa (and the entire hotel) is immaculately clean. Throughout our treatment our therapists wear facemasks and constantly wash their hands which is great to witness and makes us feel much more comfortable.
We place our order and begin to graze on the Bread and Butter, unable to resist a few carbs. Chef treats us to a superb amuse-bouche, Scallop, presented in its own shell, topped with a Parsnip Puree and Turmeric Foam, exceptional, it raises our anticipation for our dining experience.
After our treatment we explore the facilities. The 2,500 square meter sanctuary features six distinct pools, including a plunge pool, experience pool, therapeutic pool and an outdoor infinity pool. For your comfort and privacy, the spa has separate zones for women and men, each with its own indoor pools, sauna, hammam and steam room.
For my main course I opt for the Grilled Norwegian Salmon Fillet, a Top Loin Salmon, Roasted Jumbo Asparagus, Celeriac Mousseline, with a Vanilla Butter Sauce whilst my dining companion selects the USDA, Grain-Fed Prime Tenderloin, 350 Grams. To compliment the mains, Mashed Potato, Hand-Cut Idaho Potato Fries and Sauteed Green Beans and Shallots.
We leave the spa feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, we would definitely look to come back and visit for a spa day. Side note call in advance, the spa usually has a few good offers.
For dessert we share the Crème Brulee with Vanilla and Orange Zest. Torched tableside, we’re quite sure that the entire restaurant ordered the Crème Brulee that evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the showmanship.
Having worked up quite an appetite, we make our way to Porterhouse Steaks and Grills for dinner. The award-winning restaurant is known to import prime cuts of meat from celebrated producers around the world. The restaurant is spacious with a glass kitchen offering a bit of theatre, although the outdoor area is our location of choice this evening.
Overall, Porterhouse Steaks and Grills exceeds all expectations, the food is terrific, the plating of the dishes imaginative, and the service is some of the best we’ve received in the city. Plus, tables are spaced as per governing guidelines and also have partitions, which make us feel more comfortable when dining.

After a great night sleep, we wake up feeling fully recharged and ready to embrace the day. We head over to Manava for breakfast where we are welcomed by the team, who are polite, courteous and professional in all aspects. This cheery, family-friendly restaurant fully lives up to its name, which means “welcome” in Tahitian. A large breakfast spread is on offer this morning featuring regional and international favourites. We opt for warm Pancakes with Maple Syrup, Fresh Fruits and Coffee.
For starters we opt for the Pistachio and Chia Crusted Tuna, a Seared Tuna, Fava Beans, Pickled Mushroom, Crunchy Fennel Salad and Garlic Mustard Dressing. This has to be one of my favourite dishes of our visit. The Tuna and Pistachio offer a delicious contrast in flavours.
For main course, my dining partner selects the Spaghetti Bolognese, a slow cooked Beef Ragout, Carrot, Celery, Tomato Sauce, Aged Parmesan Cheese and Rosemary. I ordered the Spinach-Ricotta Ravioli, a Saffron Air Sauce, Green Asparagus, Following breakfast at Manava, we make our way to the hotel’s Vine Baby Tomato, Baby Spinach and Parmesan Cheese. Again, private beach and enjoy one of the most relaxing afternoons we have had in a long time. Guests can relax by the pool, on the beach both dishes are enjoyed, and we leave just enough room for dessert, concluding our dining experience with a refreshing Citrus or within the hotel’s lush green foliage. Chef Daniel Boulud Opens At Sofitel The Obelisk
36 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
While several celebrity chefs have already made their mark on Dubai, Chef Daniel Boulud is a late entry to the market. Opening at the new Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, the interior of Brasserie Boulud is honestly a bit larger than I expected, mostly because I thought restaurants would have adjusted for smaller openings by this point. However, the soaring space is immediately stunning and gives Parisian city vibes. Modern chandeliers accentuate a unique lighting structure set against a mirrored ceiling, and my dining partner and I appreciate the modern and relaxed atmosphere. For guests interested in what the chefs are up to, the open kitchen offers a view. The menu is straightforward, with fresh and seasonal dishes and a more casual approach to contemporary French cuisine than some of Chef Boulud’s other global venues. After perusing what’s available, we start with a beverage by the glass, which arrives at the table already poured. This approach is a personal pet peeve of mine (and my dining partner, as she comments the same), which we also comment to the GM at the end of the meal. Next, we receive three kinds of warm, fresh-baked bread and butter, along with a beautifully presented amuse-bouche of Endive and Cheese. There are plenty of recognizable dishes on the menu (and yes, we see Burrata go to other tables). However, my dining partner and I are in the market for something a bit different. We start with a jar of Rillettes de Canard, which includes shaved Duck Breast, Pickled Eschalot, Sweet Onion Chutney, and Pomegranate Seeds. Served with Chargrilled Bread, it’s our favourite dish of the meal, and we can’t think of anywhere else in the city that’s doing this particular presentation. Additionally, we order the Grilled Octopus Romesco. While the Octopus is perfectly serviceable and the Fennel adds a lovely bit of texture, we can think of at least two other restaurants where we prefer the preparation. Our waitress also encourages us to try the Brasserie’s version of Escargots, Escargots de Bourgogne (Burgundy snails served sans shell). While the price is right compared to similar offers, (AED 70), we prefer the buttery, garlicky goodness at LPM. For our mains, we bypass the Pasta options, as we’ve heard good things about the Frenchie Burger au Feu de Bois, which arrives perfectly medium and with nicely cooked Chips. It’s a large portion, and the kitchen was nice enough to pre-cut it for us.
December | 37
The toppings of Raclette Cheese and Onion and Tomato Compote are a welcome addition. As we’ve heard good things about the Grilled Lamb Chops, we also place an order for them. The four Lamb Chops are generous, but we’re not sure the over AED 200 price is quite right. Fortunately, the accompaniment of Pan Roasted Zucchini is an excellent balance to the tender, fatty protein. A range of side dishes is available, including the Parmesan Garlic Polenta, which packs plenty of luscious garlicky flavour. Our final dish of the evening is the Valrhona Chocolate Fondant, topped with a scoop of Coconut Ice Cream. It’s rich enough to share, but the construction of the pastry is a bit disappointing, as is the presentation. We also think the sweet on sweet tastes of coconut and chocolate don’t quite go together. Similarly, the freshly baked Madeleines, while expertly made, don’t arrive warm, which my dining partner and I both comment on. So, would we go back? When we think of French food, we usually (and honestly) think of LPM first, however, it’s good to see some competition in the market. 38 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
Diners can expect contemporary classics, rooted in tradition including Foie Gras with Orange, Dry Apricot and Fig Brioche, Sole “Grenobloise” with Parsley, Capers, Cauliflower and Broccoli, Truffled Duck Leg Confit with Green Lentils and Root Vegetables as well as dessert specialties such as Vacherin, French Meringue with Vanilla Ice-Cream from Tahiti and Red Fruits Compote, Saffron Pear and Pistachio Tart and a selection of refined French Cheese. Brasserie Boulud is open Monday to Thursday 6.00pm to midnight (kitchen opens 7.00pm to 11.30pm), Friday and Saturday 6.00pm to 1.30am (kitchens open 7.00pm to midnight). Thai Cuisine Explored At Benjarong
40 | Dining and Nightlife Middle East
Specializing in authentic Thai cuisine, Benjarong brings the unique flavours of Thailand to Dubai. Benjarong sits atop of the 24th floor of Dusit Thani Dubai and offers views of Downtown Dubai’s glittering skyline alongside picturesque views of the Burj Khalifa.
First to arrive is the Tom Yum Soup, this comes in two options, Chicken or Shrimp, we opt for the latter. Having requested the level of spice be lowered, chef does well to meet our requirements. The aromatic scent of Mushroom, Lemongrass and Roasted Chilli Paste is emphasized by Lime Juice and Fresh Chillies. We are satisfied that for once we can enjoy our Tom Yum Soup without having to reach for our water.
We are welcomed by the team at Benjarong with a traditional Thai welcome, ‘Sawadee Ka’. After a quick look around the newly revamped restaurant we opt to take a seat by the window, allowing Next up, Por Pia Savoey, Vegetable Spring Rolls served with us to sit back and watch the world go by. a Sweet Plum Sauce alongside the Tod Man Pla, Fish Cakes The interiors are stunning, teal walls, deep red velvet seating and dressed in a light Curry flavour served with Sweet Chilli Sauce and thatched roofing come together to blend traditional Thai elements Crushed Peanuts. Sadly, the Sea Bass Fillet is not served in the Banana Leaf and does look slightly lost on the plate. However, what it lacks in theatrical presentation it most certainly makes up for in taste. Flaking off the fork the Sea Bass is exceptional. The Battered Prawns do however just outshine the Sea Bass, (there was much debate around this at the table) the medley of flavours and textures makes this our dish of choice. The crunchiness of the Cashew just gives this dish an edge over the rest. The freshness of the ingredients used is evident, and flavour and presentation are balanced well. Finishing with dessert we opt to share the Coconut Crème Brûlée, presented in a half coconut shell with some theatrical dry ice, this dessert is an insta-worthy ending to our dining experience.
We really liked the authenticity of Benjarong, which prides itself on serving recipes that have been passed down over generations, ensuring that each bite transports you to Thailand. This is further enhanced by the Thai waiting staff and chef. On that note I must say the team at Benjarong were fantastic, from start to finish the level of warmth and professionalism was excellent.
