Chew Magna Christmas Fayre

Date: Fri 3rd Dec Description: Catch Shakespeare’s starcrossed lovers at the Redgrave Theatre this December and share in the joy of live theatre. Caught in the middle of a war between two feuding families, a pair of young lovers take shelter from a fractured world and hold each other close. They meet, they talk, they flirt, they touch. They fall in love. And then everything changes.

Date: Sat 4th Dec Description: Join us once again for the Chew Magna Christmas Fayre, organised by the Chew Magna Society in partnership with the Friends of Chew Magna Primary School.We have some wonderful attractions, old and new. Information will follow over the coming weeks.

Especially when it comes to the most wonderful time of the year. Avon Valley is open this December to give you and your family a cool yule to remember! The park is open for a full day of festive fun but wait….there’s myrrh! You can also book a timed session* to see Father Christmas! All bikes, trikes and scooters welcome. L plate friendly.Please invite your friends and spread the word! The ride is free to attend but all donations are very much appreciated. Every penny raised goes to Children’s Hospice South West. Why not dress up as Santa, an elf, a reindeer, snowman or something else! Decorate yourself and your bike and help us spread Christmas joy around the city. Arrive at Winterbourne Academy from mid morning onwards and enjoy the festive atmosphere. We’ll be getting ready to depart from 12:30 and aim to be on the road for 13:00. Our route will take us through Bradley Stoke to Aztec West, then down the A38 to the Bearpit roundabout, a loop around the centre via the Triangle and Park street, then on to the Children’s Hospice at Charlton Farm.
