T
he Wally Parks Motorsports Museum located on the L.A. County Fairplex property in Pomona, CA. The museum houses an amazing collection - including fan favorites like the legendary Dragmaster Dart and the ChiTown Hustler, even land speed record-holders like Chet Herbert’s Bonneville streamliner Beast III- the NHRA Museum is truly more than just a collection of old cars, motorcycles, and memorabilia.
The Museum’s exhibits are world-class.
The museum, a non-profit 501 c(3) organization, is proud to be supported by the Automobile Club of Southern California. In addition to hosting special events and educational programs, the museum collaborates with AAA on rotating exhibits in the Automobile Club Gallery to share the Auto Club’s long and storied history in the expansion of California’s roadways, the development of driver education and safety procedures, and as an integral element of American car culture. While we’ll never stray from our drag racing roots with the NHRA, the Museum collection also showcases
motorsports arenas. Our Dry Lakes Gallery boasts well-known Bonneville streamliners and some of America’s Most Beautiful Roadsters are on display at the museum, helping to round out the museum’s extensive collection.
Your help makes the difference.
Museum activities and programs are funded by individuals that believe in the Museum’s mission and purpose, and are committed to ensuring the NHRA Motorsports Museum remains a world-class institution. As the only museum dedicated to the story of the American hot rod, we need your support to continue enhancing exhibits using the newest technologies, making educational classes more challenging and fun, and continue the long term care and preservation of our historic collection.
