Welcome to the Tai Chi Village This weekend is Summer Solstice. On the cover we have an image of sunrise over the Yellow Mountains, China. You'll notice this issue of the village newsletter is shorter than normal. We are busy getting ready to re-open classes. In the meantime we have a variety of online options for you to get your tai chi fix on the next page. We also pleased to announce the re-opening of outdoor Tai Chi at Cliffe Castle. Although we don't know what will happen in the future tai chi can help us pause, look around and appreciate the things we have around us. We took some time to appreciate our surroundings while making a video of 'solstice inspired' movements at Cliffe Castle with Val Preston - https://trulyessential.co.uk/tai-chi-qigong/ We hope you enjoy the video inspires you to enjoy your practice. We look forward to seeing you soon. All the best, Phil & Helen

Discover Tai Chi online Over the last three months we have taken an online journey! We have explored the high and lows of trying to find the best formats and platforms to bring Tai Chi online for you. We now have a variety of different options to choose from, so you can pick what's right for you. 1. Zoom - a live interactive online class. Go to the timetable on our website - Discover Tai Chi Timetable find the class you would like to attend and click on that class to join. The first time you do this you will need to sign up to our online booking service (via TeamUp). You can then register (book) a class and pay as you go each time. (It's a bit like our face to face classes) 2. Patreon - pre-recorded videos on our online learning space. With new videos, news, and resources uploaded on a regular basis. By signing up you can watch access these videos and resources as many times as you like at a time that suits you. Visit www.patreon.com/discovertaichi to join us, think of it a bit like subscribing to a magazine. 3. Tai Chi for Wellness Video Course - Pay once and have lifetime access to a series of videos and resources on the essential principles at the heart of tai chi and qigong practice. It's a bit like buying a video boxset. Follow the link: www.gumroad.com/discovertaichi 4. Facebook Live or 'Watch Again' - If you enjoy Facebook then you can follow our Discover Tai Chi Page and enjoy our live streams every Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. It's a bit like watching TV with Phil and Helen your hosts : )
