Ricca di eventi non solo l’agenda estiva triestina, ma anche quella che tra settembre ed ottobre ci traghetterà verso i mesi invernali. Passate le ferie agostane, dal 2 al 5 settembre, piazza Unità d’Italia tonerà ad animarsi con Link, festival del giornalismo e dei nuovi media. Una rassegna, giunta all’ottava edizione, che rappresenta ormai un preciso punto di riferimento nel calendario culturale della città. All’interno della Fincantieri Newsroom si alterneranno giornalisti, scrittori, personaggi della televisione, con talk e confronti dal vivo che avranno come denominatore comune la “ripartenza sostenibile” post pandemia. A fine settembre invece, sempre la piazza simbolo di Trieste farà da cornice a Next, l’ormai popolare salone della scienza che strizza l’occhio ai più giovani in quella

che è una città a forte caratterizzazione scientifica. Incontri, laboratori, curiosità con molti ospiti che animeranno il villaggio di piazza Unità nell’ultimo week end di settembre. Nemmeno il tempo di tirare il fiato e davanti alla grande piazza ad inizio ottobre, fino alla fatidica data di domenica 10 ecco nuovamente la Barcolana, la Festa del Mare di Trieste, con il golfo a riempirsi di natanti per una settimana di appuntamenti fra terra e mare in quello che è l’Evento di Trieste.

There are plenty of events not only in Trieste’s summer festival, but also in its autumn festival to be held between September and October. After the August holidays, from 2 to 5 September, Piazza Unità d’Italia will once again come alive with Link, the festival of journalism and new media. This event, now in its eighth edition, has become a landmark in the city’s cultural calendar.

The Fincantieri Newsroom will host journalists, writers, and television personalities, with live talks and discussions on the common theme of “sustainable restart” after the pandemic.

At the end of September, Trieste’s most famous square will be the setting for Next, the popular science fair, which will be aimed at young people in a city with a strong scientific focus. Meetings, workshops and curiosities with many guests will animate the village in Piazza Unità during the last weekend of September.

At the beginning of October, until the important date of Sunday 10th, the Barcolana, Trieste’s Sea Festival, will take place again in front of the main square, filling the gulf with boats for a week of events between land and sea: this is Trieste’s Event.
