Da studente si approccia al mondo delle pubbliche relazioni, dedicandosi all’organizzazione di eventi in tutta la regione. Nel 2014 a Londra lancia un locale dedicato alle eccellenze del Friuli Venezia Giulia. Torna a Trieste e, assieme alla compagna Ilaria, gestisce Francis B&b Superior e Mimì, senza abbandonare la passione per gli eventi. Amo molto Corte Cafè [22] (piazza San Giovanni 5). Non solo per iniziare la giornata ma anche per una pausa o un appuntamento di lavoro. È un bar centrale ma riservato, perfetto soprattutto in estate, quando la parte esterna, ombreggiata, regala un angolo fresco e piacevole.
Trattoria da Giovanni [23]
(via San Lazzaro 14/b) si trova a due passi da casa e quando spunta il sole non resisto e vado a mangiarmi un panino col cotto o gnocchi di susini. E poi compresi nel prezzo ci sono i racconti dei triestini doc, che animano il locale. Impagabile. Osteria Marise [24] (via Felice Venezian 11/f), una chicca, intimo, accogliente, giovane. Ormai non leggo più il menu: baccalà mantecato, busara di scampi o carbonara, un calice di vino della casa e per finire il miglior liquore di Terrano. La terrazza di Eataly [25] (Riva Gulli 1), un posto elegante e in riva al mare, curato nei minimi dettagli. Il plus è sicuramente la qualità delle materie prime proposte, che rendono ogni ogni sosta eccezionale. A Barcola [26] camminata di rito con finale da Sticco Mare [27], un’istituzione. Posizione favolosa, acqua pulitissima. E spesso sole e mare vanno avanti almeno fino all’aperitivo e scatta l’ora dello spritz. –As a student, he approached the world of public relations, dedicating himself to organising events throughout the region. Not only to start the day but also for a break or a business appointment. It is a central but private bar, perfect especially in summer, when the shady outdoor area offers a cool and pleasant spot. Trattoria da Giovanni [23] (Via San Lazzaro 14/b) is a stone’s throw from home and when the sun comes out I can’t resist going there for a sandwich with ham or plum gnocchi. And then, included in the price, there are the stories of the true Triestines, who bring the place to life. Priceless. Osteria Marise [24] (via Felice Venezian 11/f), a gem, intimate, welcoming, young. I don’t read the menu any more: baccalà mantecato, busara di scampi or carbonara, a glass of house wine and, to finish, the best Terrano liqueur. The terrace at Eataly [25] (Riva Gulli 1), an elegant place on the seafront, with great attention to detail. The plus is undoubtedly the quality of the raw materials on offer, which make every visit exceptional. At Barcola [26], a ritual walk that ends at Sticco Mare [27], an institution. It’s in a fabulous location, and the water is crystal clear. And often the sun and sea go on at least until aperitif time, when it’s time for a spritz.
