Lara Perentin, triestina del 1976 si appassiona alla fotografia da giovanissima. Ma è l’avvento di Instagram, nel 2008, che le dà la spinta a condividere con gli altri il suo sguardo sul mondo. Si specializza nel ritratto, nella fotografia di reportage, nella street photography. Cogliere l’animo umano resta la sua grande passione, in bianco e nero, ogni volta che le sia possibile. Come dice Anna Manzari “L’uso del bianco e nero per Lara, non è altro che il suo riflesso, lei è bianco e nero, un equilibrio tra dolcezza e graffiante ironia, compostezza e bisogno di trasgressione”. È del 2013 la sua prima mostra personale. Espone successivamente a Trieste, Monaco, Norimberga, Fiume. È la fotografa ufficiale del Trieste Film Festival. Il suo sogno è integrare nella sua carriera artistica lo sviluppo di progetti fotografici a sostegno del sociale.

Lara Perentin, born in Trieste in 1976, became passionate about photography when she was very young. But it was the advent of Instagram in 2008 that gave her the impetus to share her view of the world with others. She has specialised in portraits, reportage photography and street photography. Capturing the human soul remains her great passion, in black and white, whenever possible. As Anna Manzari says, “Lara’s use of black and white is nothing more than a reflection of herself, she is black and white, a balance between sweetness and biting irony, self-control and the need for transgression”. Her first solo exhibition was in 2013. She then exhibited in Trieste, Munich, Nuremberg and Rijeka. She is the official photographer of the Trieste Film Festival. Her dream is to integrate into her artistic career the development of photographic projects in support of social issues.
