about fusion Welcome to Hit Like & Share Our new project is about internet safety for young people. Our cast have been working hard for over six months to produce a gritty and serious piece of theatre that examines how vulnerable people can be when they’re online. We were horrified when we read about the numbers of people taking their own lives because of online bullying and we decided to tackle cyberbullying alongside the new type of ‘stranger danger’ that the anonymity of the internet has created. We hope that the play has given our cast members a better understanding of internet danger and that they will use the experience to stay safe. We also hope that the performances will get people talking about these important issues and encourage open discussion about the problems that modern technology can present. Emma and Josie
Fusion Youth Theatre was established in 2005 by a team of professional artists in the NE Lincolnshire region. By 2011 the group was delivering more than just youth theatre projects so in 2012 they expanded and became Fusion Youth Theatre & Community Arts. Fusion have worked all over the world; running photography projects in Spain, drama projects in America, dance projects in Africa, music & theatre projects in Japan. The team consists of theatre practitioners, visual artists, costume designers, writers, musicians as well as guest artists brought in to cover other areas of the arts for various projects.
