Welcome to the second issue of Mouth Almighty. There's a lot going on over the next few months with festivals of jazz, folk, punk and blues as well as big outdoor music events in Holton Le Clay, Immingham and Cleethorpes. There's also Cleethorpes Carnival Parade to look forward to in July and that promises to be bigger and better than ever before We'll be enjoying ourselves at The Lincolnshire Show at the end of June and the Barton Arts Festival has a top quality line up of writers and performers to tempt us out of town for the evening. featured artist: Terry Clarke Terry Clarke is professional artist with a permanent studio at Abbey Walk Gallery in Grimsby. He has been a member of the Lincolnshire Artistsâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; Society for over 25 years and in 2013, as a mature student, he gained a BA Hons in Fine Art Practice at Grimsby Institute accredited with Hull University. His most recent achievement is winning the 2014 Open Art Competition for the 2021 Contemporary Art Gallery in Scunthorpe. Terry has a varied practice but he does

have a deep affinity with the River Humber, Spurn and the Forts together with the ships that sail on them both past and present. He has been developing a style of painting which involves the use of charcoal and oil paint to create effects which really lend themselves to the subject matter of the Humber and how coastal erosion affects these elements and the landscape. Two of Terryâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s paintings of the Forts were recently exhibited at the Hull Open Exhibition at the Ferens Gallery in Hull.
