VEHICLE REGULATION DURING EXPO DAYS y Vehicles are not allowed inside the gates during expo days. y If you will require a special vehicle access to the facility during exposition days for short catering delivery or stand maintenance, please proceed to the Organizer’s office located in East Access to obtain special approval from Event Management.
PARKING FACILITIES The venue is equipped with underground car park facilities (Parking A, B & C for vehicles at or below 2.05m in height) along its perimeter. y Parking A is the only parking that will be available during the installation and breakdown days (21-25 April & 28 April - 1 May) y All Parking Lots will be open starting at 7:30 during exposition days (26 April – 28 April) y Rate per hour at the parking is 3.00€/h, but you will be able to pre-purchase an all-day ticket or a multi-day ticket via the Fira Store. y The rate for the all-day ticket is 25€ and the multi-day is 75€ (from Monday 25 April through Thursday 28 April)

If you are transporting your perishables, you must inform your shipping agent of the 10:00 deadline on Friday 29 April. Any remaining products after this deadline will be donated to the food bank, Banc dels Aliments.
EMPTY CRATE REMOVAL AND GOODS STORAGE If you would like to store your empty crates, cartons or goods, please contact Resa Expo Logistics who can be reached at +34.93.233.4111
ICE DELIVERY Flaked ice will be distributed on a daily basis at no charge during exposition days. At the end of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, please display the ICE labels where you want the ice delivered the following morning. Ice delivery starts at 07:30 each exposition day. If you need more flaked ice during the day, please proceed to one of the Seafood Cold Storage areas.
SEAFOOD REMOVAL SERVICE At the close of each exposition day, all ice trays and display containers will be emptied by our cleaning crew. Please place TRASH labels on seafood you wish to discard and DO NOT THROW AWAY labels on seafood you wish to save. Seafood products that are not labeled will be discarded. Additional labels can be found at the Seafood Cold Storage locations or in the Organizer’s Office in East Access.
AISLE CARPET Aisle carpet will be laid at night starting on Friday 22 April. We encourage stand builders and exhibitors to keep the aisles clear and to remove your waste every day to help make this process as smooth as possible. ONSITE EXHIBITOR GUIDE | 2022 13

FOOD PREPARATION AREAS Exhibitors have access to three (3) food preparation areas each equipped with preparation tables, sinks with hot and cold water, liquid soap, paper towel and large waste bins to discard your seafood products. The use of sinks in the sanitary rooms is prohibited. Our food preparation areas are at the following locations: (see map on page 13) y Hall 2 (by Cold Storage) y Hall 3 (by door 3.14) y Galleria (by Cold Storage)
WASTE MANAGEMENT All companies are responsible for their waste collection during installation and dismantling, and must leave their exhibit space clean once the break down period has passed. Exhibitors will be fined the corresponding rate of 10€ per square meter for any materials left behind at the close of the exposition, with a maximum fine of 2,000€ per stand. If you require any waste collection, please go to the Servifira Exhibitor Service Desk in East Access or South Access, Level -1 or call +34.93.233.2000.
KEEP IT GREEN! Recycling containers for waste, paper, cardboard and plastic are located between each hall. All seafood waste must be discarded in the special containers located in the food preparation areas mentioned above.
FOOD DONATION Exhibitors wishing to arrange donation of their products at the end of the exposition can call the Banc dels Aliments at +34.93.346.4404 (www.bancdelsaliments.org). The Banc dels Aliments welcomes all frozen food. Opened packaging and defrosted products cannot be donated. DONATION stickers will be distributed in each stand on Wednesday 27 April and Thursday 28 April. More stickers will be available in the Organizer’s Office and the Seafood Cold Storage areas. Banc dels Aliments volunteers will circulate the halls on Thursday 28 April at 17:00 onwards to pick up donated products at the exhibitor stands. You can also make arrangements at the Cold Storage areas to donate your leftover seafood. Storage units will be open until 10:00, Friday 29 April. All remaining seafood products will be donated to the Bancs dels Aliments after this deadline.

SERVICES AT THE VENUE
CLEANING General cleaning of the aisles and other public areas is the responsibility of the Organizer. Each exhibitor is responsible for the cleaning of their own stand. If you require cleaning services, please go to the Servifira Exhibitor Service Desk in East Access or South Access, Level -1 or call +34.93.233.2000.
SAFETY AND SECURITY During set-up and breakdown, the Organizer will be responsible for the general surveillance of the halls – controlling the entrances, outside surveillance, general and preventive security for order and to safeguard against any kind of emergency. Exhibitors are advised to guard their own property during the installation and dismantle of their stand. Personal belongings that may be stolen should be locked away overnight. Under no circumstances is the general surveillance for exhibition property or the private property of each exhibitor. Therefore, the Organizer is in no way responsible for the private property of exhibitors or for the theft of any materials left in the stands, possible damages that may occur during installation, exposition days or dismantle. At the end of each exposition day, exhibitors are advised to lock away or remove anything of value from their stand. We recommend that you bring any valuable seafood products back to your designated cold storage area to store overnight. The Organizer is not in charge of stand surveillance. Should any exhibitor wish to hire this kind of security, they must do so through Servifira (+34.93.233.2000) or seafood@firabarcelona.com. Servifira is the exclusive security provider of the event. Any thefts or damage must be reported to security via the Fira Hall Manager or to the Police Station located within South Access immediately. Losses and damages for insurance claims need to be reported to the Organizer and the police within 24hrs. Please report anything suspicious to the to the Fira Hall Manager or to the Organizers immediately. Please be precise in the nature of the action and the precise location. Security guards will walk through the halls at the close of the exposition each day to clear them of all visitors (this process takes at least 45 minutes). All exhibiting personnel will be required to vacate the halls by 20:00 on exposition days. Exhibitors who plan to hold an event or reception during expo hours at their stand must obtain written approval from the Organizer. Please email Joel Hatfield (jhatfield@divcom.com) or proceed to the Organizer’s Office in East Access to obtain the approval.
IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY: y Stay calm.
