Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort is pleased to announce an exciting renovation plan for the Villas and Tower (Phoenix Phase 1). Starting April 2024, your building will undergo an impressive upgrade with a fresh and distinctive new look in every room.
As significant changes have not been made to the Villas and Tower since 2014, and Phase ll since 2017, the goal of this renovation is to improve your investment to ensure:
1. Quality vacations and pride of ownership for years to come
2. It continues to meet or exceed the quality of competing resorts in Aruba
3. It maintains trading power within the Interval International and RCI exchange networks should you choose to travel to other destinations
Over the past year, we’ve completed these improvements and upgrades around the resort:
• Lobby new chairs, tables, and water feature
• Redesign of the Sundry shop
• The opening of the Aruba Aloe store
• New tables, chairs, and sofas at purebeach
• New tables and chairs at puredeli
• New pool loungers
...And there’s more to come!
The timing of this renovation is in line with hospitality industry standards and guidelines.

This extensive renovation project will encompass the following buildings:
Villas & Tower, All units: April 2024 – May 2025*
Improvements will be made to eliminate wear and tear, cover interior and exterior work, and make the resort eco-friendly. A summary of what is included in the renovation plan is detailed below:
• New bathrooms (removing tub)
• New kitchen and appliances
• New kitchen backsplash
• New interior & exterior doors
• New flooring interior & exterior
• New baseboard
• New lighting

Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort will contribute to the cost of this project, but there is also financial responsibility amongst the owners. This will result in a temporary increase in your operating fee. To help alleviate any burden this increase may cause you, the developer is going to divide the increase over a two-year period. The increase will range from an additional $800 to $1,550 and will be reflected in your next operating fee notice.
This renovation was prepared with you in mind to enhance your vacation experiences and beautify your home away from home at Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. Please be patient as the dedicated construction crew and resort staff work to make your vacation ownership the most enviable in Aruba.
Please note that if you plan to travel while your unit is out of service, you will be relocated to a similar unit. As always, you must pay your operating fee, including the increase, before you can travel or exchange.
