In our final summer DCM, members first got service hours by making bracelets, and cards for veterans. D12W was also joined by D12S and D12E. We ended this event with a fun game called the Color Wars. Everyone playing wore a white shirt and threw colored power at each other. It was a fun way to show everyone the bright spirits of Key Club! The white shirts picked up on the colors that were thrown at each of the members, leaving everyone with a fun little memory to take home. The pictures included show the LGHS officers decked out in their white shirts with splashes of color all over!

Starting from July 8th our Key Club board discussed July’s Week of Service that was being held the following week. Even through this late summer season, our board strived to actively promote these events through our Key Club
Westmont instagram page. We started posting these events a week prior to notify people as soon as possible. These events consisted of trail clean ups, card and bracelet making, and online activities. Throughout the end of that week, we made sure to post each of these empowering events each day. Doing this was a great way to help people get involved into these summer service activities!
Branham High School July DCM Recap

During the month of July, Division 12 West collaborated with Division 12 East and South for our August DCM! We started off with some bonding through bracelet making/card making. Afterwards, I gave my division an update of upcoming events, our next DCM, and more. When all three divisions were done with their reports, we began to participate in Color Wars. In addition, Division 12 East had a fundraiser with boba, ice cream, and water for members to cool off in the hot area. Overall, it was so fun to chase my members around and throw colored powder at them. I absolutely loved how everyone was having a blast!
