LTG LTG Hey Manta Rays! I hope you all have been having a wonderful December and that you aren’t too consumed by finals. I wanted to let you all know how incredibly proud I am of the work that you all have done so far. Make sure you continue to serve your communities, especially during the holiday season. This is also the perfect opportunity to reach out to family members and friends to let them know how much they mean to you!! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
See you soon, Mantas

division news news editor editor division HAPPY HOLIDAYS MANTAS! Now that finals season is in full swing, it's time to take a second and look at all the accomplishments that you have achieved this past year! From our summer beach clean-up to fall rally south, it has been a fun filled year of service and hard work! Congratulate yourselves! Also with the holidays around, remember to take a break from community service, school, and possibly work, and just relax! Spend time with your friends and family and appreciate this winter break with the people that you enjoy the most! Lastly, I thank each and every one of you for all the hard work you guys put in to our division!
WITH LOVE,

key club club moment moment key My most memorable moment in Key Club would have to be when I attended my first meeting as a freshman. I remember taking a seat at the front of the classroom and looking around to see such a friendly and close knit group of people. I instantly knew that I was at the right place. Key Club has this way of making people feel like they belong and I wanted to be apart of that. Key Club does so much for people all over the world that words can’t describe and I love it for that. I love what we do and the heartwarming members in it that I’ve called family for the past couple years. They are what keeps me going. As a senior looking back, I can say that freshman me would have never thought Key Club would end up having such a big impact on my life.

Fall Rally South is more than a fun trip to Six Flags with your friends and thousands of other passionate Key Clubbers all over SoCal. It is a celebration of the hard work and effort of the members, officers, DLTs, and LTGs, but more importantly, an event to rejuvenate or even mark the start of someone’s Key Club journey. Fall Rally reminds us of the importance of their volunteer work and efforts towards fundraising to our preferred charities. Although we fell just short of winning the spirit stick this year, the Mighty Manta Rays will back in 2020 for that stick! 12

This month, the Eleanor Roosevelt Key Club had our monthly street cleanup! We had a great turnout with a very impressive amount of members coming to help clean the streets! It’s always a pleasure to work alongside our Kiwanis family to make our beautiful city even cleaner. These Manta Rays sure are dedicated! When they SEA an opportunity to help, they’re always willing to DIVE IN first hand!
