Message From Our LTG Happy Holidays Manta Rays! With the year of 2017 coming to a close it opens up a new door of service and leadership for 2018. Let's all work hard and make this the best year ever for Division 15 East. I wish all of you well this holiday season, filled with friends, family, and good times. For those of you with finals I am sure you all crushed it and are ready to start off the new semester strongly. Remember to take a break every so often, mental health is just as important as physical health. The holiday season is also one of the most important season of service, make sure you try your best to find a way to improve the world around you.

Message From Our DNE Hello Mantas ! I hope everyone is now or soon to be taking the break they deserve for working so hard not only in school but also in community service. I am also very glad to know that at Fall Rally South last month we were able to fundraise one hundred thirty thousand dollars with over eight thousand attendees ! Its such a heart warming thought that over eight thousand key clubbers from socal care so much to better the community, and thats the FRS attendees only, they're are much more ! Thank you to all key clubbers in all divisions for working so hard and doing an amazing job, you're all greatly appreciated.

On November the 19th, our members volunteered at the Taekwondo Legacy Cup. The event was a taekwondo tournament for young children where our members helped keep score and direct competitors to where they needed to be. Our members enjoyed the promotion of fitness that the event carried and being able to watch some matches while they volunteered!

On November 11th, Centennial High School joined with hundreds of other schools and divisions to celebrate Fall Rally South. With over 40 students we went to six flags with the rest of our division and cheered against others. Although we did not win the spirit stick, the rest of our day was unforgettable.

As the holiday season arrives, JFK decided to write holiday cards for hospital patients. This was a wonderful opportunity for our Key Club to give back to our community. On these cards, Key Clubbers wished them a happy holiday and wrote words of encouragement. Joan Santos shares, “This really gives us the chance to show our appreciation towards our community. I’m glad we were able to give these patients a little boost of fighting power through the holidays.”

On December 2nd, La Sierra held a parking lot rummage sale for clubs like Key Club, CSF, and Interact to fundraise. Even though the main customers we had were club volunteers and teachers we were glad just to receive a small amount of profit for our club. By the end of the day we still had quite a lot of donations that we did not sell. Our club decided to donate all that was left over to a local shelter for those in need, especially since people will be needing a few extra layers of clothes in the frigid winter of Riverside.
