It was wonderful collaborating with Nest+M on this Picnic Fundraiser event. Many came and we started off with board games. As some were playing board games, others were drinking and eating chips at the stand. After an hour, we passed around tote bags for everyone to for the tote bag competition! Many included a frog, mushrooms, mountains, and more. As for the Winners, they won a $15 gift card and mini basketball hoop! We also handed out free pizzas to everyone and cooled drinks on this hot summer day. Overall, we raised $162 for Soles4Souls and more for both of our clubs. We are excited for more collaboration events in the future with Nest+M, so stay tuned. SPOTLIGHT

On August 24, 2022, Canandaigua, Harley, and Brighton Key Club partnered with Brighton Kiwanis Club for their annual back-to-school backpack drive at Brighton Town Park. All hands were all on deck for this project! Club members loaded about 125 backpacks with various school supplies, such as folders, rulers, notebooks, erasers, and pencils. The backpacks will be given to students at Abraham Lincoln School no. 22. Dr. Clinton Bell, the principal at Abraham Lincoln School, was instrumental in organizing this event and helping to pack the backpacks. After stuffing all the backpacks with school supplies, we packed them into boxes to be sent to four classes of deserving inner city kids at School #22! It was amazing to be apart of service in the summer and it was an exhilarating event!
