LETTER FROM YOUR LTGyour ltg Hi Blue Devils! I loved seeing all the new faces at recent events! I hope you’re all getting excited for Region Training Conference and Fall Rally North! We’ve spent a lot of time preparing to make it the best yet! You’re gonna have so much fun and make so many memories soon. In addition, another super important event is dues payment. Communicate with your club officers to know how to pay your dues! I know school’s getting tougher, so if you ever need any advice, or just someone to talk to, I’m always here for you! I hope you guys have better time management than I do, because I'm kinda drowning in deadlines :,) Club rush just finished and I'm excited to seea bunch of new faces around. The best thing about clubs are the events, so make sure you have time to join in (especially a certain event in October *cough* FRN *cough*). Fall Rally North is literally around the corner so attend our Spirit Socials to practice your spirit! We are DEFINITELY winning the spirit staff this year!

This month, Monte Vista's main focus was directed towards the school's club fair, where we attempted to get new members to join Key Club. We succeeded with 54 new sign-ups! With this influx, we plan on creating more service and bonding moments to show them the great opportunities Key Club provides. In terms of projects, we continued with Charity Miles and Pause For; these were the two main sources of service hours. Monte Vista Key Club also congratulates Jonothan Tao for being the division’s Member of the Month!

This month, our officers started to plan out the events and projects for the next school year. We also revised how we'd approach things, including meeting time, meeting content, and gaining new members. As school has just started, we are working on gaining new members, especially freshman and sophmores.

We hosted our first Key Club meeting this year! We promoted the club at Cougar day and are planning to promote on Club day. People came to the meeting which was awesome to see!

We had our club fair this month and it was pretty successful. Club fair was really fun and exciting! It was incredible to see how many newcomers there were and how enthusiastic our members were throughout the entirety of club rush. We gained around 50 new members and it was nice interacting with new people. With our spirit sticks sticking out above the crowd and our officers wearing the division shirts, club rush was a true success.

This month Monte Vista key club held the first Bottles to Dollars fundraiser! Members from our club dropped off their bottles and cans at Snake Park, which then later got brought to a recycling center. We were able to fill up around 5 trash bags or about 2 and a half trash bins, which was a pretty good amount. We raised $17.59 from this event and we are looking forward to more drop-offs in the future! („• „)੭
