HEYYYYYY GUESS WHAT ITS TIME FOR FALL RALLY NORTH! I'm so excited to spend a whole day at Six Flags with all of you guys :D (literally please I want to take pictures with all of you). I've been super busy lately; junior year is harsh - with SAT prep classes, extracurriculars, and my general work load. Hopefully you guys are having a better time than me :,)
RTC was just last week but it was honestly so much fun, even if there were only six division members who went LOL
MONTHLY CLUBmonthly club

This month, Monte Vista Key Club focused on getting its members instituted and familiar with its activities. We held two general meetings this month, with one being more of an introduction to key club. Our club also hosted an Interkey with Dougherty Valley High School's Key Club to further our goals in SERVEtember; we promoted a healthy lifestyle by allowing members to relax and enjoy themselves, encouraging a healthy mental health break filled with bonding and fun. The main event was a movie night with board games, boba, and other fun activities such as Kahoot. Monte Vista Key Club also held a Panda Express Fundraiser where we raised $100.40 for PTP! For service hours, we continued our two ongoing projects of Charity Miles and Pause For.
RECAPS recaps
This year’s club fair, though much shorter than last year’s, was just as if not even more successful! California High School had its club fair on the 13th of August, and with the officer’s enthusiasm and spirit many new students were attracted to joining Key Club. With so many new faces joining the club, we can be prepared to have a lively year! (CAL)
The tye dye social was super fun and I really enjoyed interacting with new people from the division! Matt handed out white shirts and there were many colors of dye provided. It was really funny seeing some members dampen their shirts in the nearby pond, while other members dampened their shirts in the water fountains. Members were learning how to dye shirts from the internet and everyone helped each other out. We all wrapped out shirts with rubber bands and proceeded to drench everything in color. It was a bit messy, but overall this event was super fun! (mv)
Monte Vista had an interkey/bonding event with Dougherty Valley this month and it was super fun! This was a successful bonding event and we all had a great time. It was so nice seeing new faces and hearing the laughter all around. We watched a mermaid Barbie movie and also had boba while playing games. My favorite board game was definitely Fortnite Monopoly and I laughed a lot trying to learn how to play it. After the movie, we also played a healthy lifestyle Kahoot and then random holiday Kahoots, which was also really funny.
Some highlights were definitely watching members sing Christmas karaoke while waiting for people to show up and the funny Kahoot names. ٩(
