In pre production this was the main use of technology we used to display our work, it was important to show our audience research, upload YouTube videos, and analyse the research we had done to put into our production stages. We also used it to upload week logs about what we had achieved and if we were meeting our deadlines. We used Issuu to analyse our work in more depth and also we used PowerPoint to present our work to the audience and incorporated spread sheets to show visualisation of our shooting script. Issuu came in handy when analysing our Digipaks and magazine adverts. We used YouTube to get an idea of what our audience would listen to and also it was a way to find relatable artists to help with the representation of our own artist. We also used
During production it was only used to update our logs and post pictures of what we had done so far, this gave us a chance to reflect on what we thought was going well and also what we thought needed to be improved.
During postproduction we used this to display our final work, and how we edited our three products, we also got audience feedback and evaluated our own work, comparing it to real life music videos.

For postproduction I made files on word that needed to be linked to my blog such as “The effectiveness of the combination of the main products by doing this, it showed a different way of presenting my work.

Effectiveness of technology I found blogger effective to use, as it was the only technology used to show all of my work I had done in each stage, I had used it previously with our project last year and was familiar with what had to be done. The new additions to the website helped the blog to be presented in other ways.
The effectiveness of using Issuu was that it showed another way of presenting my work and a use of different technologies. It allows you to look through each page clearly by zooming in and turning the page and this makes people interact with it more. YouTube was a brilliant source to get information from, it definitely helped to influence our own work, as we picked up on conventions of different genres of music videos, to help us make

This was used in planning to get permission from our artist to use his song. We also used twitter to get an idea of how the artist is represented on his own twitter, and what fans like about him. Pintrest was used to find sources online to put together an idea of how we wanted our artist to be represented, for example the clothes that he would wear, and what locations we would see in our video, we also looked at popular brands and other artists we could compare him to. This was used to record our session with a focus group gathering feedback from questions asked during the session about our artist and general questions about the genre of

our own work better. We also used YouTube for help on tutorials as to how to use final cut as we got stuck when editing sometimes. The effectiveness of this was that we were using social networking sites to engage with the artist, and find an accurate representation of how he likes to talk with his fans.

The effectiveness of Pintrest was that it was a new way of grouping certain different items on one page. I think it was effective as I was able to browse through different websites and link any thing I saw straight to the website.

The effectiveness of using this was that it was small and easy to use, we only had to use one button to film and it didn’t take long to film it. We could then quickly upload it to our YouTube account using the

USB attached to it. It captured everything well and didn’t need a tripod to be attached to it, to get a good image.
The camera was easy to use and was small so we could get into different angles it was also a HD camera so the quality was a lot better. I think using this allowed us to get better footage.

The camera was good to use and we used was able to transfer footage onto the apple Macs easily. I think using HD cameras was better than using the standard cameras last year, and it also had a good battery life so we could use it over long periods of time. iMovie was only I thought it was used to edit the effective as we evaluation videos were able to add that we had different effects recorded, we on the video if we added pictures, had wanted to; and cut into the we were also able actual video, to to add pictures commentate on and text, and what actions we transfer the took to create the official music video. video onto the software with no problems. British social realism theme, we didn’t need to use as much effects, as we tried to reflect the most realistic video. Photoshop was used to edit our ancillary products, the magazine advert and the Digipak, I found it quite straight forward to use, and as we had grouped together our work from Fireworks and put it on to Photoshop, it allowed us to change the brightness of the photos to suite the look of our work. Fireworks was used to add text mainly to our digipak and flatplan, here we were able to edit the font that we copied from Dafont.com and allowed us to change the sizings of the picture, the shaping and anything else we needed
Photoshop was easy to use, and helped use define the look we wanted to use for all of our products to flow well. I thought it was a better way of editing our photos, rather than just using Fireworks.
It helped us display our work clearly and w felt that fireworks was good to use before transferring our work onto Photoshop, it let us edit our photos to make it look realistic, and conform to the music video we were trying to create.
