Marimekko | New York, New York Designed by architecture firm: Studios Architecture Marimekko, the Finnish fashion and lifestyle brand, commissioned Studios Architecture to create their store in New York City. The openness of the interior encourages a community connection, enticing passersby to enter and explore. Located in a 1909 Beaux-Arts building, the almost stark white interior serves to enhance the bold and colorful Marimekko prints. The hospital features a healing garden and outdoor dining area, reinforcing the facility’s connection to nature. The interior is a “brilliant union between the opposing aesthetics” of the church’s historical architectural features and contemporary design style. featured product Thick Rustic Teak Slab San Juan Ventures San Juan Ventures specializes in reclaimed wood for flooring, sustainable furniture, and architectural elements.
