AGRICULTURE SCAVENGER HUNT THURSDAY JULY 25 TO SUNDAY JULY 28 Kids are invited to do the ‘Agriculture Scavenger Hunt’ at this year’s East Otter Tail County Fair. The program, sponsored by the Minnesota Farm Bureau, provides children ages 5 - 12 years old an opportunity to learn about agriculture as they enjoy the sights and sounds of exhibits and livestock shows. Children participating in the activity will learn about products grown and raised on Minnesota farms and made from Minnesota commodities while viewing displays.
Children can pick up an activity sheet at the fair office. The activity sheet contains agricultural questions. As children tour the fair exhibits, they will find specially placed posters containing the information necessary to complete the 10 question activity sheet. Once completed, the activity sheet should be returned to the starting location. The goal of the projects is to help children gain a better understanding of farming and agriculture and its importance to Minnesota. Submitted activity sheets will be entered for a daily drawing at 5:00 p.m. Winning entries will be notified if not present.
RACHAEL IANIRO THURSDAY JULY 25, 2019 • 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM • EOT FAIR PARK SHELTER
DON’T MISS THE TALENT OF THIS YOUNG RISING STAR! Hello! My name is Rachael Ianiro. I’m a 22-year-old singer, songwriter, musician & graphic designer from Detroit Lakes, MN. I started writing music when I was eleven years old, taught myself guitar at sixteen, and also became familiar with the piano and ukulele over the years. I didn’t play my first show until I was eighteen, because getting up in front of a crowd hasn’t always been my thing. I am

so glad I did it though, because I didn’t know the impact

my music could have on people until that day. You’ll rarely find me without my scuffed up work boots on, because when I’m not writing or playing shows, I’ll be riding my motorcycle, fishing, drawing/painting, or just hanging out in my dad’s garage, where I grew up learning about muscle cars and real good music. I have the best supporters and I couldn’t be more thankful for each and every one of them. God is so good! PAGE 8
