BRETT
W
YOUNG
ith piercing blue eyes and standing tall at 6’ 6,” it’s impossible to miss Brett Young. The former college pitcher and avid songwriter uses his competitive edge to create music that critics, radio and fans cannot stop raving about. “A solid winner” (Music Row), Brett has spent many late nights in the recording studio strumming chords and perfecting lyrics that encompass his “Caliville” sound – the world between Brett’s SoCal roots and Music City coming-of-age. “I think my background has a lot to do with my work ethic,” expresses Brett. “There is a discipline that you learn growing up playing sports, which I did through college. It is always my goal to work harder than the next guy.” Brett’s soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics are derived from a myriad of personal experience. One pass through the California native’s selftitled EP (now available on iTunes), you are completely immersed in his love, passion, hope and honesty. “Everyone leaves a trail of ‘almosts’ and bittersweet memories behind on the road to ‘the one’,” says Brett. “It has happened to me on my journey—it happens to everyone - but I’m learning to use those moments now when I write music. I’m a hopeless romantic who feels everything, and that shows in my songs.” Brett makes love look like an art form with songs like his debut Top-10
single “Sleep Without You,” “Left Side of Leaving” and “You Ain’t Here to Kiss Me.” His azure-hued gaze pierces through the audience, understanding each person’s point of view and displaying an unnerving vulnerability as he introduces his music throughout Nashville. “I grew up with Marvin Gaye, Kenny Rogers, Tim McGraw— emotionally expressive singers. I like that the emotion carries the songs, where the music is almost secondary,” he explains. “Tim McGraw’s ‘Don’t Take The Girl’ – that for me was the first time I heard a country song and said this is what I wanna do. That influenced me; as a songwriter and a performer, I want to connect like that. When your audience really feels what you’re singing, it becomes about much more than the show. You have a connection…you truly have a fan and a shared special moment.” His BMLG Records introduction follows a string of previously released recordings that gathered a cult following and placement on television shows like Chrisley Knows Best (USA), Real World (MTV) and Kourtney and Kim Take New York (E!). Now in the studio with GRAMMY and CMA Award winning producer Dann Huff, Brett is charming his way track by track with an eclectic mix sure to carve out an exciting path. Rolling Stone has already taken notice, naming him as one of their “Artists You Need to Know.”

ichael Ray grew up rural Central Florida, hunting alligators and fishing for tarpon. He was born into a family full of musicians, and started singing and performing professionally before he was even in high school. Under the advice of his grandfather, Michael honed his country music skills by learning classics by Porter Wagoner, Bobby Bare, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings. Garth Brooks was the first big concert
Michael ever got to see, and he claims it changed everything for him. He eventually made the move to Nashville, signing a recording contract with Warner Music Nashville. Michael Ray released his first major label EP and Full Length in 2015 and hasn't looked back since. His first 3 singles have landed in the Top 30 on the Billboard Charts and he's shared the stage with Chase Rice, Sam Hunt, Kip Moore, and fellow WeFest Artist Darius Rucker.

LADY
ANTEBELLUM C
harles Kelley and Dave Haywood grew up together in Georgia, and both moved to Nashville in the mid 2000's. It was there that they met Hillary Scott and decided to form a trio in 2006, settling on the name Lady Antebellum. Their debut, self-titled record was released in April of 2008 and was the FIRST album by a new duo or group to debut at Number One on the Billboard Top Country Albums Charts. That was just the beginning of
Lady Antebellum's success, as they went on to release 5 more records and tour the world with the likes of Martina Mcbride, Jason Aldean, and Tim McGraw, just to name a few. The trio took a bit of break to pursue their own solo projects last year, but are back with more music and the You Look Good World Tour (presented by Nabisco). LOGAN
brill F
ollowing her independent sophomore album release ‘Shuteye’, 25-year-old Logan Brill continues to define herself as one of the most important young artists in Nashville today. With a stunning voice that goes toe to toe with Nashville’s finest, the young Knoxville native opts for grit and authenticity over pristine pop in her song choices, drawing comparisons to Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, and Mary Chapin Carpenter from national press. Outlets like Billboard, The LA Times, Rolling Stone, The Huffington Post, CMT, Country Weekly, & Pollstar have already shown their support for her refreshingly authentic sound, imbued with a “bluesy American grit” (Southern Living) that sets her apart as “a far cry from the slick pop country of many of her contemporaries” (The Boot). The Huffington Post dubbed ‘Shuteye” a “wake up call for Nashville” and The Knoxville New Sentinel raved her as “one of those country artists who gives you a little glimmer of hope that good commercial country still exists.” Most recently, Rolling Stone placed Logan on their “10 New Country
Artists You Need to Know” list, Billboard included her as one of “13 Country Artists to Watch,” and Cosmopolitan dubbed her one of “8 Female Country Artists You Should Be Listening to Right Now.” It seems fans nationwide agree, as Logan has appeared on sold-out bills in markets from Nashville to Chicago to Seattle with legendary artists like Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, Dwight Yoakam, & Leon Russell to contemporary megastars like Gary Allan, Lee Brice, & The Band Perry. On the same weekend in April of 2015 she made bi-coastal debuts at both the famed North Carolina roots music festival Merlefest, and California’s Stagecoach - the nation’s highest grossing country music festival. A few weeks later, Logan also made her Grand Ole Opry debut, where she continues to appear regularly. 2016 hasn’t slowed down with performances at Joe’s Bar in Chicago, Spring appearances at Taste of Country Music Festival and Country Jam Festivals in Colorado & Montana, and the inaugural Nashville Meets London Festival at Canary Wharf in London.

CODY
JOHNSON C
ody Johnson hails from East Texas and has spent the last 10 years making a name for himself in the Lonestar State and all around the country. Cody first began singing and playing guitar when he was only twelve years old. In 2006 he formed the Cody Johnson Band with his dad Carl and friend Nathan Reedy (Drums). The band has since had a few member changes and additions; with Cody’s dad parting ways after their second album was released. The band
is now known as the Rockin’ CJB’s. Cody tried his hand at college, and then on the rodeo circuit, but always wound up back on stage. He put out several records and was the proud recipient of the Texas Regional Music Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year in 2011. His sixth album, “Gotta Be Me,” debuted at Number Two on the Billboard Country Albums Chart in 2016 and was his most successful release to date.

She competed on Season 2 of NBC’s The Voice – and made it through to the quarterfinals, as part of Team Blake. After the show wrapped in 2012, she signed a record deal with Big Machine and put out an EP, and a few singles, including “God
Made Girls”. In June of 2016 she signed with Warner Brothers Nashville and released “Love Triangle” one month later. KANE
BROWN N
ewcomer Kane Brown moved around a lot while growing up, but his mom eventually settled him outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Kane attended high school with fellow country singer, Lauren Alaina, and was even inspired to try out for shows after seeing her success on American Idol. The reality show singing competitions weren’t for him, so he took to posting videos of himself singing covers of country songs.
He quickly grew a fanbase on youtube and other social networking sites, and his cover of George Strait’s ‘Check Yes or No’ went viral in September 2015. Kane wasted no time, and released his single ‘Used To Love You Sober” one month later – in October of 2015. He signed to Sony Music Nashville in January of 2016 and has since toured with Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean, and Chris Young.
