We will provide the paint and a financial contribution towards the cost of painting the façade(s) of the property and any associated boundary walls and outbuildings.

The allowance paid per premises will be €200. A reduced allowance of €100 will be paid for brick/stone properties where windows, and door, reveals, quoins, etc are only required to be painted. The paint will be supplied to the applicant free of charge based on the information submitted overleaf. The maximum quantity of paint that will be supplied will be calculated on the basis that 1 litre of paint shall cover 5m2. This allows for two coats of paint to be applied to the property. Applicant agrees to paint the façade(s) of their property in colours selected from the scheme palette. Applicant submits a photograph with their expression of interest that shows each facade of their property that they intend to paint prior to painting. The allowance shall be paid upon receipt of a completion declaration form accompanied by a photograph showing the completed painting in the appropriate colour. Property owners will be responsible for all painting works required. Buildings used for political or religious purposes are not eligible. One application form is required per property. Properties must be within the eligible area as shown on map opposite. The completed declaration must be submitted by the 28/02/2014 to the ADoPT office, Main Street, Pettigo, and following approval all works must be completed by 31st July 2014. Should the number of applications exceed the funding available, compliant applications will be will be awarded funding on a first come first served basis.
