SHARED 5-A-SIDE IAIN TURNER
The Scotsman spent eight years on Merseyside with Everton, making four appearances for the Toffees. His first loan spell come at Chester where he won the Conference. This brought attention from Rovers who signed him on loan in 2005 where he would appear in eight games in red and white before joining Wycombe on loan in the same year.
JERMAINE McSPORRAN
Made a name for himself while playing for Wycombe in the old Division Two. Between 1998 and 2004 he appeared 158 times, scoring 30 goals. Later in 2004 the forward would join Rovers for two years of his career where he scored three times - twice against Ipswich in the League Cup and once against Oldham in the Football League.

TONY CUNNINGHAM
Featured for Rovers and Wycombe towards the back end of his career. He joined Rovers from local rivals Rotherham United in 1993 but over that year only scored one goal. He was also placed in caretaker charge of the club after Steve Beaglehole left. Once Ian Atkins was appointed in January 1994, Cunningham left Belle Vue to join Wycombe. Game time would be hard for him to come by with the Chairboys, so he left after one season before concluding his career at Gainsborough Trinity.
NATHAN TYSON
The former Reading youth product has played for Wycombe three times in his career. The first time came on loan from the Royals in 2004 where he made such an impression that the Chairboys made the move permanent in March that year. He went on to average a goal every two games which caught the eye of several clubs - eventually leading to a move to Nottingham Forest. After his release from Blackpool, Paul Dickov signed Tyson on the back of Rovers’ relegation to League One. He quickly captured the imagination of supporters but left when his contract finished in 2016. Following a brief spell in Scotland, Tyson returned to Wycombe steering them from League Two into One in his first season back.
ADEBAYO AKINFENWA
One of the most iconic players in the EFL, Akinfenwa featured for Rovers briefly in 2005 scoring four goals in nine games during his successful short stint in South Yorkshire. He settled at Adams Park in 2016 where he is close to making 150 appearances for the club and equally close to reaching 50 goals for them.
