November as a result is also a key coverage driver. But while in previous years we regularly achieved several hundred clippings during this period, often this was a name mention only. In 2020 we were looking to deliver a creative campaign which allowed PriceSpy to own its unique narrative, while using this story to achieve true business results. Our client Ossie Bayram summarised what this campaign meant to the business: “Our objective was to personalise the brand and give PriceSpy a face consumers can trust. The Super Saver campaign definitely delivered in that respect, giving us one-to-one engagement with our target audience, while maintaining our core values of trustworthiness and impartiality. Best Event CARROT PRODUCTIONS Schooltime Showtime SUMMARY Like many others in the performing arts, our business came to an abrupt halt with the arrival of Covid-19 in March 2020. Our scheduled UK Wallace & Gromit: In Concert tour was cancelled, as were the performances in Japan, New Zealand and South Korea. As these shows were set to be our first staged outside the UK, this was a particularly devastating blow. We tour with The Snowman each December, staging 40+ shows in some of the UK’s finest Cathedrals and venues, alongside relaxed performances for people with additional needs and children staying in hospitals. In Autumn 2020, as venues cancelled our bookings, we decided to film our Snowman show to share with schools. To add value, we also devised additional videos and materials to support teachers, engage the children, and provide crucial employment opportunities for our musicians. The resulting ‘Schooltime Showtime’, whilst borne out of necessity, became a true celebration of our creativity and musicians. We also successfully staged one day of our live Snowman show, with 4 socially distanced performances at Chester Cathedral. There were tears of happiness from the orchestra and audience alike, as the poignancy of sharing live music touched everyone present.

Lead generation was a secondary goal, with the only campaign conversion point being a ‘Request more information’ form on the e-PAQ landing page. The campaign combined PPC advertising with email nurturing, remarketing and PR to promote the brand to core ecommerce and retail audiences. Although the shift in brand awareness before and after were not measured, the campaign had a significant effect upon sales enquiries and the KIPs were exceeded by some way. As a result, the agency has also welcomed a number of new staff members, almost doubling the size of its team.
