Eastern NC Shovel Fest

23 October 21

This was the first ever official Shovel Fest on the east Coast and it was at Old School Bike Shop in Louisburg, N.C.!!! There were 38 Shovels, 2 Pans, and a Knuckle in the showing. Four winners came out on top!

Bike Show Winners:

1st Place: Randy Talton 2nd Place: George Horton 3rd Place: CE Wilson People’s Choice: Sue Hatch

Lots of folks came out to get their Shovel Head fix...over 475 to be almost exact! It was a gorgeous day to hang out with friends and listen to the band, “No Dice” perform! Coolers were welcome and some even brought their own chairs to relax the day in.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to our Sponsors and vendors (about 14) plus swap meet folks. Three food trucks came out, including Zorry’s Tacos, Paw Lee’s Barbeque & Catering, and a funnel cake truck. Birdies Beads was on hand sewing patches and selling her wears, as well as several other vendors.

With your help that day, Old School Bike Shop also raised $830 that was donated to Meals on Wheels.

Thanks to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. Thanks to those who helped make this event happen. Thanks to all the great vendors and food trucks! Thanks, also, to all the clubs who came out. There were several representing!

Join us again next year for the 2nd Annual Shovel Fest on the 3rd Saturday in October!

We will see you there!
