Frankincense is known as a spiritual oil and is commonly used in meditation and yoga practices, as well as for incense and creating a relaxing and harmonious environment. Amyris is a tall flowering tree that is commonly called Torchwood. This nickname comes f rom the way the wood of the tree burns brightly due to its high oleoresin content. Like Frankincense, Sandalwood essential oil is a powerful oil f requently used in meditation and yoga. Hawaiian Sandalwood is an especially sweet-smelling Sandalwood oil and is sustainably sourced f rom the Kealakekua Mountain Reserve (KMR) in Hawaii. Patchouli essential oil has an aroma that is distinct and recognisable. It encourages a balanced, calming, equanimous atmosphere. One of the most classic of citrus oils, Lime is cleansing and can help create an environment that is uplifting and energising. Ylang Ylang and Roman Chamomile—both flower oils—are both known for their calming and soothing aromas.

SKU: 31010004 Method: The warm, woody aroma of dōTERRA Balance ® Grounding Blend helps create a sense of calm and relaxation. We perfectly blend Spruce, Ho Wood, Frankincense, Blue Tansy, and Blue Chamomile with Fractionated Coconut Oil to offer an enticing f ragrance to help promote tranquility and relaxation. Spruce, one of the oils in dōTERRA Balance ®, was used by Native Americans and is still used today to help bring harmony to the mind and body. Ho Wood, Blue Tansy, and Blue Chamomile aromas can provide a sense of calmness, while Frankincense aroma has a grounding and balancing properties.

Combine the dry ingredients in a large ceramic mixing bowl and stir well.
2. Add the essential oil and stir to combine. Using a spritz bottle spray a little water and incorporate immediately (you don’t want them to f izz). You can add water using a teaspoon. 3. For perfect shower melts you need to add the right amount of water. The mix should feel like damp sand and be wet enough to hold its shape when pressed together. If too dry, the melts will be crumbly and fall apart.

Begin your day by putting dōTERRA Balance ® on the bottom of your feet to help promote a sense of calmness and tranquility to your day.
4. Fill a silicone mould with the mix. Press f irmly into the mould using your f inger tips especially around the edges.

5. Allow to dry for 24 hours. They should feel solid. Store in an airtight container.

Apply to your wrists or neck.
