I opted for the Glenwood and from the day I moved in I haven’t had one moment of regret. I’m so happy with every aspect of my home, the quality of the build and fabulous customer service. I love my new neighbourhood and have made some great friends. Thank you for making my move a much smoother transition than I could hope for. - Caroline Boyce

Community Engagement Happy New Year, and here’s to wishing everyone a great 2022. Let’s keep things rolling with a positive outlook on what we can achieve if we set our minds to it. I am looking forward to meeting and working with our many organizations in our community this year. The Shop with a Cop event took place in December. Thanks to Katherine Edwards of the St. Thomas Police, along with administration staff and police force staff who helped make this happen. We were able to provide 40 (13-15 year old) teenagers with a $100 WalMart gift card, and they shopped the store with a police officer. Along with other local supporters, this event was a huge success! Plans are under way for a summer event, and hopefully Shop with a Cop can become an annual event. Keep it kind, - Suzie

And just like that, we are into a New Year. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our sales team about the purchase of a new home. The interest has been amazing and a little overwhelming. We have tried our best to at least make some point of contact with everyone. We are still moving forward daily with our sales... not in our normal way, but in a way that is keeping everyone safe as we manage through these Covid times. We receive many emails and phone calls daily, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate through them all. As we all know, not everyone will get the opportunity to build or buy a Doug Tarry Home. We hope you are able to find a place in St. Thomas to call home. Thanks again for your time and understanding, Suzie, Amanda, Cathy and Michele Your Doug Tarry Sales Team

MOLTEN LAVA CAKE R E C I P E

Ingredients 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate 2 eggs 2 egg yolks 1/4 cup sugar Pinch of salt 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour Step 1 Preheat the oven to 450°. Butter and lightly flour four 6-ounce ramekins. Tap out the excess flour. Set the ramekins on a baking sheet. Step 2 In a double boiler, over simmering water, melt the butter with the chocolate.
