Originally built as a private residence by the Pryor family in the late 1990s, this 33,000 square foot marvel sits on 55 rolling acres. The house was designed to resemble an English style Tudor castle with heavy Gothic influences. Prior to breaking ground in 1996, the Pryors hired a local interior design firm to source the vast majority of all dĂŠcor, paintings, fireplace mantels, and furnishings from European estates and auctions. Make your next off site excursion an escape to a world steeped in historical elements, architectural tricks and triumphs, and fine craftsmanship. The tour begins with an adult beverage at our Pub Bar, followed by a journey through a variety of remarkable gathering spaces and elegantly appointed lodging suites. Conclude the experience with a treat for the palate presented by Executive Chef Lee Hendrickson.

Whether you are a history buff, architecture aficionado, or simply looking for an unboxed team building activity, take your tour of Dover Hall to the next level with an interactive Scavenger Hunt. Choose from individual or team play, novice to expert, and themes including treasure, logic, or history. Guests are encouraged to use their smart phones during the hunt as they will learn fun facts (and possibly clues) from the virtual tour on the Dover Hall website. When the clock strikes 60 minutes, guests will reconvene at the Pub Bar for the awards ceremony and happy hour, complete with adult beverages and house made hors d’oeuvres. All participants will receive a Hunter’s Award for discounts on future Dover Hall events.
