Welcome to the seventh annual Willamette Valley Wine Auction. Whether you are joining us virtually or in-person, we are thrilled to be back together with you to celebrate the 2021 vintage of Willamette Valley wines. We’re proud to announce that this Auction is powered by Zachys Wine Auctions, whose partnership and expertise strengthen our program and the bidder experience for buyers across the globe This year, the Auction features 68 one-of-a-kind Pinot noirs and seven Chardonnays from the special 2021 vintage Seven of these lots are collaborations made with friendship and creativity among dynamic duos in our winemaking community Frankly, there’s nothing like the Willamette Valley. We say that about the wines, and for good reason, but it’s also about the personnel I joined the Willamette Valley Wineries Association to not only represent this great place and get my hands on some outstanding fruit, but to champion the greater wine community The level of collaboration and camaraderie here is second to none, and I’m proud to be a part of that. On behalf of the 75 participating Auction wineries and the 220 wineries and vineyards represented by the Willamette Valley Wineries Association, we want to thank you for your excitement and support We are coming together after a few challenging years, and we are eager to celebrate, and with your support, strengthen the community that continues to make this region a special place to make wine For those who are able to be here in the Willamette Valley on August 10, we welcome you to an expanded week of events centered around Willamette Valley hospitality and collaboration If you are bidding online, we are excited for you to “put your paddles in the air” right alongside those in the bidding room, while you enjoy being a part of the live auction experience with a glass of Willamette Valley Pinot in your hand As a virtual bidder, you may request lot samples in advance We hope to toast to you in person again very soon Thank you for raising a glass, a paddle, and important dollars for the Willamette Valley We can’t wait to share with you these 75 delicious wines
