interview
Alexander Graziano is a young photographer living in Stuttgart, Germany who happened to enjoy photography by accident. While studying Web Design in the first term, Alexander discovered his love for taking pictures and started studying at a photography academy in Stuttgart. His precision is what‘s the ONE thing in Alex‘ works - ‚a concept is what you need for a good shot‘, otherwise you make your life harder than it actually is. A good shot is it if you knew what you wanna show before you take it. It takes a lot of components like the right location, model, make-up, outfits and light setup. If everthing works together a good shot becomes excellent. „It‘s the awareness of knowing that the moment you capture will never happen again - actually you‘re capturing the past in present and for the future.“ - Alexander Graziano

interview
Tobias Herrmann is a young, aspiring photographer from Berlin. Pictures were always the foundation to express his creativity. His clean style and colorful presentations of male models can be considered his trademark. Herrmann, born in 1986, made a detour on the way to becoming a photographer. It was 2006 when he moved from a little village at the border of Berlin to the German capital. He wanted to study film and television at the University ‚Konrad Wolf‘, but actually did not start. Instead he worked as a team leader in an advertising agency that had just launched their own photo community on the web. Fascinated by some impressive pictures uploaded by the

community members, he got curious about taking photos himself. Herrmann bought his first DSLR camera and teached himself how to photoshop. At this time he began to copy productions he liked most, to learn more about how to realize own ideas in the process. After being employed for five years at several Internet agencies, Herrmann formed his own business in 2013, now working as a full-time web designer and photographer in Berlin. This decision gave him the time and space he needed to develop and complete projects that are important to him, for instance his very first calendar called „moments“. You may have seen Herrmann‘s work already in international fashion magazines and on various blogs, such as HUF Magazine, Querbinder, MM Scene, Égalité, Daily Male Models – and, of course, Trash Magazine.

What was your intention for your latest single C.U.N.T? It was a form of self expression in a crude and gratuitous way. I wanted to arrive with a BANG into music as a soloist. I don't take myself too seriously, and I just wanted to make a good dance track. How would you describe yourself? I'm a very sarcastic person and I don't take life too seriously. I like to do my own thing, and I'm not very easily restrained. Why is music so important for you? It's just an easy way to express myself creatively. Do you have any plans for your future? Haha. I hope so! ... To be honest, I'm just taking things as they come. Enjoying myself. What can you tell as about your short movie „Smoke and Mirros“? I wanted to explore the current misuse of social media in a short film. It was a quick thing I put together. I was going to write an article about it, and I thought, why not just create a short movie. So I shot it in about 30 minutes, edited it together, and created a 'through the keyhole' look at a story in which most never see. Where do you get your ideas for songs? Life.
