International Day For Tolerance Imagine a World Where: • Millions of Africans were not transplanted from their homeland into hundreds of years of slavery. • Millions of Jews were not persecuted, herded into concentration camps and murdered. • Individuals were not investigated, slandered and destroyed for their political beliefs. • Wars were not ignited by religious differences. • Genocide was not perpetrated against a certain group based on its ethnicity. • For forty-six years, apartheid did not deny the rights of the majority in favor of the minority. • Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender youth are free from harassment and bullying that end in tragedy. • Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people are free from discrimination in housing, employment, religious & military service and marriage rights. • Hundreds of thousands are not belittled, ridiculed or discriminated against because of their weight..
