 Percentage distribution of Malaysian population by religion in 2010

 Islam is the official religion of Malaysia, and the Government actively promotes the spread of Islam in the country and its friendship with other Muslim countries.  In Malaysia, the Census in 2010 show approximately in 61.3% of the total population are Muslims, 19.8% are Buddhism, 9.2% are Christian, 6.3% are Hindus and other 3.4% make their belief such as Conservatism, Taoism, Bhai and etc.

MOSQUE  A mosque is a place of worship for followers of Islam.  Muslims often refer to the mosque by its Arabic name, masjid.  The word "mosque" in English refers to all types of buildings dedicated for Islamic worship, although there is a distinction in Arabic between the smaller, privately owned mosque and the larger, "collective" mosque, which has more community and social amenities.
