Islam is the official religion of Malaysia, and the Government actively promotes the spread of Islam in the country and its friendship with other Muslim countries. In Malaysia, the Census in 2010 show approximately in 61.3% of the total population are Muslims, 19.8% are Buddhism, 9.2% are Christian, 6.3% are Hindus and other 3.4% make their belief such as Conservatism, Taoism, Bhai and etc.

MOSQUE A mosque is a place of worship for followers of Islam. Muslims often refer to the mosque by its Arabic name, masjid. The word "mosque" in English refers to all types of buildings dedicated for Islamic worship, although there is a distinction in Arabic between the smaller, privately owned mosque and the larger, "collective" mosque, which has more community and social amenities.
