Apast winner of the Whisky Bar of the Year title at the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards in 2021, the Malt Room is a small but beautifully formed bar in the centre of Inverness. In fact it has the distinciton of being the first whisky bar to be established in the city. Not only are staff very well informed but they are happy to chat with you and advise you on the best drams for your palate. The bar appeals to a cross-section of people from young to old, and everything in between. It also attracts a fair few tourists because its reputation is growing not just in the city but world wide too.

Mainly because its a young, energetic team who are not afraid to push the boundaries when it comes to whisky and as a result its range it both diverse and interesting. But if whisky is not your passion there is also good craft beer available and other spirits too. And now the bar boasts a tasting room upstairs which can be used for private events.
