The hotel is located in the beautiful conservation village of Port Charlotte and enjoys a beachside setting with stunning views over Loch Indaal. This award-winning venue has 10 luxury rooms, a bar, restaurant and conservatory. Guests can relax in front of the open fires in its residents’ lounge and bar and enjoy the convivial company over a whisky or two. The bar plays host to nearly 150 Islay malts including rare ones and local ales too. A few years ago it won the accolade Malt Whisky Bar of the Year from The Good Pub Guide while its restaurant has been awarded a Trip Advisor accolade – ‘Certificate of Excellence.’ The Port Charlotte Hotel may be small but it is very definitely welcoming.
